Best WR tandem in SEC...

I agree totally. If Worley, Dobbs, or Peterman can get the ball to them we will have one of the most dangerous WRs corps not just in the SEC but in all of CFB.

I would put the trio of North, Malone and Pearson up there with the mythical (I say this bc we never saw them) level of hunter, darick and CP. But the rest of our receiving core will play a bigger role, and better numbers than backups of '12. So I second the most dangerous WR corp in the SEC

Pearson and Malone haven't caught a pass in the SEC yet, and we're already considering them legends?

A couple of the names they mentioned had no catches to their name either, or not impressive number. In particular the jc for auburn

In a directly related item. Who can name the SEC QBs that are head and shoulders better than an improved Justin Worley?

Mizzous?
Auburns?
Etc?

Serious Question. The SEC seems to have a lot of ?s at the position this season.

Pig Howard is almost forgotten but he was productive last year. The battle for the starting slot position will be a good one.

Could easily be North, Malone, Pearson, Croom, Howard with Josh Smith, Wolf and Helm all there too. That is one dangerous set of receivers and Defensive Coordinators could well be pulling their hair out to stop them all. Think QB will be fine as he will only need 3-5 seconds to release the ball.

It's really funny to hear how our QB play is horrible. I challenge any team to learn a new offense, put in a true freshman, and play a top 10 schedule. Most would struggle.

Swain, Meachem, Smith. The Wr corp you mentioned never played together.

UT needs to be in top of that discussion in terms of the overall talent at the position. I say the Vols have the most talented group as a whole. With a * by their name because of the ? at QB (sadly).

Amari Cooper is the best WR in the country hands down. So, sadly he puts them at the top of the list. But, they have QB issues as well......

If teams can control Bummas ground attack, they will have a shot at making Bumma one dimensional.

Five have no experience getting loose from lockdown sec db's, let alone knowing where to be. Some of you act like sec football is two hand touch, beach football.:eek:lol::eek:lol:

Yeah! I believe you're right. No, I know you're right. tended to spout that line during wrestling event breaks.

Now, you guys talking about our QB play, here's what I honestly believe. Whether Worleybird or the Dobb Goblin is on the field, if that OL gives them 4 or more seconds to throw, we are going to be a dangerous team offensively. I can't say much about the defense now but offensively, we will approach the the stats of the Bray era. Because the QBs have improved more than folks realize and because they have reliable targets, and just too many of them to be covered all at once. If our RBs are even marginally as good as hoped, I won't say we win the SECe but we'll come dayum close to it. Even if the OL is porous, using Dobbs due to his wheels will balance that out. We're in better shape QB-wise than a whole lot of naysayers know. Hail, hail, hail the orange and white. We're going to be alright.
