Better Call Saul

The scene with Chuck, Jimmy, and Kim discussing Jimmy's forgery was so awesome and tense. I was squirming just Watching it. Also, Mike is so OG.

OG as in OLD WEST! That staredown with Nacho right out of High Noon. :eek:hmy:

BTW, given how Hector had to sit down and looked visibly ill after what Mike did, I guess it's possible Mike does drive him to have a stroke, at least inadvertently.

Yeah, I was wondering if that's what I saw too. It was subtle and they cut away quick.

So is Chuck dead?

I feel like they wouldn't leave us on a cliff hanger if he already died. I'm thinking coma/vegetable.

Chuck is such an a-hole. His pride is so strong it overcomes his crippling condition and he'd rather be right and see his brother in jail/disbarred than lose a client he had unethically gained.

What did Chuck do to unethically gain Mesa Verde? I don't remember anything standing out. Or am I reading that wrong?

I wouldn't think Chuck is dead yet. Coma maybe. It wouldn't surprise me if Jimmy is somehow responsible for Chuck dying/Kim getting hurt somehow in the future, but I figured that would be later on. I'd like to see more with Chuck before his character is done.

I was wondering about that last night. We know Mike is a patient calculating guy. Would be a great story to see how Mike causes enough mayhem to drive Hector's medical problems.

Maybe Mike replaces Hector when his medical problems kick in. Seeing the money coming in to Hector reminded me of Mike running around with Jesse, doing money pickups in all the random locations. Maybe that ultimately replaces the truck delivery that Mike hit this past episode.

But how the heck does he get in as an enforcer for Gus. That's what I'm wondering about.

Anyone have any idea of a timeframe about how far we are in the story now from when Breaking Bad would start?

It's a gray area, but I felt like he was very manipulative and conniving in how he attacked Kim's ability to represent them.

On top of that, she should have been offered a huge finders fee when they won the client, IMO.

Kind of a con job toughing out all the electricity to flip Mesa Verde...little of his brother in him. Think he does it confiscating their cell phones and wearing space suit lining?

Gilligan said before Season 1 it would start out in 2002, 6 years before Saul met Walter White. So if they do a season = a year, it would be 2003 now. I don't remember if they've made any specific references to the date this season.

I bet he hangs on during the next episode but Jimmy pulls his IV or something like that after it looks like he might get caught and he dies
