I occasionally wonder where we would be if Dickey hadn't completely botched hiring Stallings and been forced to hire Green.

Playing dimestore psychologist, I think he always hated the fact that Mears was more popular with the fans than he was. Also, I think he didn't know anything about basketball, so any decision he made was a shot in the dark.

Completely off topic, I'm in Las Vegas and I'm going to see UNLV v. Houston tonight. Going old school, how cool were Tark's teams and Phi Slamma Jamma?
