If they did, it was most likely a competition that had a competitive eating component.

You were wrong. It had nothing to do with eating. I really don't care about it, but sometimes you have to give credit where credit is due. I'd say about 99.9% of the posters on this board don't care about your opinion, and, frankly, disdain you, but that doesn't stop you from posting now does it?

If they are no smarter than you, I hope they disdain me. That will tell me I am on the right track. Your inabilty to recognize humor is actually comical. You appear to be the only poster who missed my point. Hey, maybe your goal is to be the first male member of the UT Dance Squad. Keep standing up for phony sports. ESPN may hire you to do color commentary with Terry Gannon for the US National Ice Dancing Championships.

Yo hat, how about Zach Randolph jackin' up all those shots last night in Memphis?
The overtime periods were the hoops version of Groundhog Day. Same play, over and over again. I was really impressed with Martell Webster. That is the first time I have seen him play live since a couple of summers ago in Vegas. He is going to be a dynamite NBA player. Nate needs to find more minutes for him.

I never missed the point. It was still wrong though. Another notch in the wrong column hat. You must be in a slump or something.

You are exceptionally dense. I'll chalk it up to you being about 12. You are the only person around here who thought the competitive eating comment was a representation of fact. It is called humor. I do have an idea, however. Maybe you could get Freak to add a Dance Team/Cheerleading/Synchronized Swimming/American Idol forum. You could add that one to your moderator duties.

Just for the record I am part of that .01% that likes hat..........:eek:k:

Wrong again. Never thought it was a representation of fact. Dang hat, you might wanna stop while you aren't down too far.

If it is not a representation of fact, it, by definition, cannot be incorrect. Do they no longer teach any sort of analytical reasoning in the public schools? You spend a good portion of this thread telling me I am wrong, then you admit that would be impossible. Your parents should ask for a tax refund. They sure aren't getting their money's worth out of their local school system.

High education doesn't always equal high earnings and vice-versa. I've seen many an idiot earning top dollar, as I've also seen plenty of geniuses working in factories.

all this from a simple attempt at humor. that being said, i don't think anyone from the valley can ever trash someone else's education.

In predicting one's future earning capacity, I am quite certain that the strongest indicator of success is education. For every genius you show me making minimum wage in a factory, I'll show you 10 on Wall Steet making a killing.

I never stated that I am a prodigy.

It may be the strongest indicator, but it isn't 100% guaranteed. That is why I said education doesn't always produce income. Alot of factories don't pay minimum wage anyways.

That's true. High earnings aren't always produced by an education, either. I wonder how many NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB players have an education. And those movie and pop stars?

Top 1% starting point in 2003 (nearest data) was $327,000/yr. Top 10th of 1% was $1.3 million. Interestingly, Bill Gates' worth is a wider margin between himself and the top 10th of 1% and the top 10th of 1 % and the rest of the 99.9% of people earning a wage.
