Biden Grade

Carter. Carter. Carter.

Carter inherited an economic calamity and paved the way for the 80's boom. He is the great deregulator that y'all pretend Trump was (major deregulations in 3 key industries). Carter was bad short term optics and great long term results.

Trump inherited a growing economy and put a stop to that by year 2. Trump enormously grew the debt (Carter didn't really grow the government much). Trump was so nasty he lost to Biden. Like it or not, Biden is a result of Trump (just like Trump was a result of Hillary's badness). Trump was good/bad short term optics (depending on who you are) and bad long term results. His only saving grace is SCOTUS noms, which are debatable. Everything else is pretty much a catastrophe.

Trump gets an F. Biden gets an F. Carter gets a B- (which is the best grade of the last 50 years).
Move over Luther. We've just discovered another delusional Jimmy Carter lover.

Russia A. He is at least calling them out, willing to say that Putin is a bad actor and responsible for mischief and enforcing sanctions, willing to employ more of needed

China C. Needs more specific and uniform strategy.

Iran B Seems staus quo so far

Afghanistan B what else is he supposed to do.

Cuba B walking a tough line pretty well

Budget C. Too much spending but have to give some leeway due to pandemic

Economy B Has not torpedoed it with insanity and incompetence as per prior administration.

Climate Change C could do more

Energy C

COVID A

Immigration C

Military B
National Unity A. National unity does not include a need to coddle the uninformed or the Trump base.
Race Relations B

Is that your unbiased answer or did someone hack your account?

If I'm delusional, what did I say that's false?

If you are a free market conservative or for small government or pretend to be for those things, you have to admit that major deregulations to 3 key industries is huge for the long term health of the economy. This is not debatable.

So now let's juxtapose that with the Carter negatives. Top 2 complaints: (1) High gas prices because of the shortage he created? Big mistake...but it was a mistake that only hurt us in the short run. (2) Hostage crisis was mismanaged? OK, but that only hurt a small fraction of Americans in the short run.

People can't get past the optics in politics. If you look at the impact of what he actually did for us and what he cost us, the magnitude of the good >>>>>>>> the bad. No other president has this type of disparity between the impact of the good and the impact of the bad. For example, regardless of how much good he might've done, we're still suffering from Reagan's escalation of the war on drugs. The fact that we armed the Taliban under Reagan is still a big problem for us. The fact that we gave Iraq weapons came back and bit us in the ass and it still affects our relationship with Iran.

Economy: C (Jobs number and what he inherited has offset some self inflicted wounds with spending/inflation

Energy/Climate: F (There hasn't been anything good here)

Foreign: C (Afghan withdrawal was mess)

COVID: B- (Mandates were stupid but gets credit for vaccine rollout)

Overall C- (Just not a lot good here. Completely bungled energy policy has really tied hands with his tenure)

LOL

Let's start with COVID.
- BLATANTLY lying to the nation about vaccines
- compete incompetence with distribution and availability of treatments (monoclonal antibody), costing untold thousands of lives
- senseless mandates destroying businesses and harming children
- failure to develop a more effective preventive or treatment

= F

Foreign:
- abject disaster in Afghan withdrawal
- outbreak of the largest international war in several decades
- China posturing and threatening to take Taiwan
- Taliban now in control of much of Afghanistan (and armed with our surrendered weapons)
- publicly mocked internationally

= F

I graded Economy on a curve given what he inherited. I think biggest issue with economy has been energy policy which I graded separately with a F. Jobs numbers plus what he inherited are enough to prevent a failing grade for economy.

helluva curve, wish I had you as a teacher.

Come back to this post a year from now and give us an update on that "jobs number".

This must be that new grading scale that’s all the rage in public schools these days.

A - 80%
B - 70%

We should have not invaded Germany or Japan with that silly logic

Biden's regime has weaponized the cia, caused incredibly high prices throughout our lives. He's killed our liberty, he's label half Americans as terrorists so he's unleashed the doj against parents. This guy has built an American KGB

Biden has done none of the above.
