You're missing the whole Gen Z effect. There are 4 million more registered Gen Z voters than in 2020. They are heavily Democratic because of LGBT+ issues and the environment. You think this unprecedented heat waves are going to motivate them even more? They are also sensitive to issues of discrimination.
There was an excellent WSJ article about how they are turning the college cities blue, even in red states. The article cited how Missoula, Montana is voting blue.
They really don't like Trump.
Just want the right wingers to keep doing what you're doing. As Gen Z comes on line for the Dems, the Repubs main support, old white people, keep dying off. White birth rates are dropping. The future ain't Repub.
Gen Z is actually trending more Republican than previous generations. And last election republicans won more black votes than they have at any point since the 1960s.
So everything you’re saying here is wrong.
Strange, some of what I said was from an article by Rich Lowery at The National Review, not a lib.
But most of it was taken from a WSJ article. Go argue with them. I trust them more than your stats. Even though Murdoch owns it now.
Much of it was based on Michigan turning blue again and Wisconsin going that way. It was also heavily focused on NC with one Repub strategist saying that if NC turns blue, the 2024 election is over. And think of all the large colleges in NC: Duke, Wake Forest, NC State, UNC, UNCC, UNC Asheville.
Look you can deny the obvious but the Repub Party is just a bunch of old white men and a few die hards, plus the racist South.
And yet Biden recieved the most votes ever.....by millions......and beat Trump.......by millions.Gen Z is actually trending more Republican than previous generations. And last election republicans won more black votes than they have at any point since the 1960s.

I guess the shift in college educated suburbia more than made up for the shifts you listed..
Of course it's not because he is popular.........HE IS NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Or it was a reflection on the candidates. You guys do this every time you win an election. You get into this weird “we can’t lose! The winds of demographic change are with us” mindset. And then you lose again.
And bragging about “most votes every” is just equally dumb. Every 4 years, we have a larger population than 4 years prior. In 2020 mail in voting increased voter turnout. I promise you it’s not because he’s just so popular
Yo @WBO im still curious about this. Young people and their politics - is this a new thing? Is this a new phenomenon? Young people favoring Progressive ideology?
You’re confusing Gen Z with Millenials.Gen Z is the laughingstock of the world. Safe spaces. Coloring books. Needing time off of work because someone won the presidency. Thinking men can get pregnant. Supporting pedophilia. The white birth rate is shrinking. And the US keeps getting worse. Progressive Democrats are the metastatic cancer of our nation. If we are to have a future it’s going to be something other than Republicans and Democrats. Our two party system is complete garbage.
Nothing to do with the discussion?? You can't be serious.Cool. So to be clear you just wanted to randomly interject with “trump bad” even though it had nothing to do with what we were discussing?
Thanks
Wake Forest is one of the smallest D1 schools in the nation.

So young people are voting Progressive instead of Conservative. And this is going to bring about the downfall of a major political party. From the articles I read, it seems they are voting in much higher numbers and more for one side than the other.
That is what all the Repub concern is about, especially in the northern college towns.
We're thousands of years in on young people having a more progressive ideology. So young people are voting Progressive instead of Conservative. And this is going to bring about the downfall of a major political party.
Did we witness this phenomenon in the 1960’s & 70’s?
Did we witness this phenomenon in the 1980’s & 90’s?
Are we 60+ years in on young people voting Progressive ideology?
Young people rebel against the status quo and the “old way” of doing things. We're thousands of years in on young people having a more progressive ideology.
But the bottom line is...........
The right will remain as far right as possible while still maintaining viability.
The left will attempt to move as far left as possible while still maintaining viability.
Which historically means the center continually moves left.
It's the progression of society.
What is needed now more than ever is for society to send the message to each party that in order to remain viable you need to show a willingness to meet in the middle and work with the other side. We've taken division and extremism far beyond the healthy and benifical point.
Your view of young and old is a little different than mine.Young people rebel against the status quo and the “old way” of doing things.
Old people point and laugh at young people and how “dumb” they are.
Yes, a tale as old as time I’m sure.
I’m simply laughing at WBO implying that the views of Millenials & Zs today represent some harbinger of death for a major political party in the future. Not gonna happen.
Where are the free love counter culture hippies from 1964 today?
Where are the new wave rock the vote kids from 1992 today?
Some people sustain the views from their youth.Your view of young and old is a little different than mine.
And of course it's not a harbinger of death, but it most certainly is a harbinger of change (progress).....as it's always been.
Young people for the most part start off liberal/progressive.....then they stagnate, and as society continues to progress around them, they become comparatively more conservative than they once were. Truely, a tale as old as time.
