Big Announcement?What??

Posted last week,Wensday,Thursday,that there was to be a "big announcement" on Saturday concerning a couple of commitments.One on each side of the ball.Did i miss that?Cause all i seen was Willis recommit.

it should be considered a pretty good day for us, until you look at what UF did...(sigh)

I think Ahmad Dixon wanted to announce on Saturday, but instead announced on Friday night.

CLK and Co. has put together a pretty solid class thus far..hopefully it sticks and more is sure to come. But yeah, the Gators cleaned up this year...smashed the ball out of the park. Their class is insane.

I really don't get it about the Gators. They've had a good run and i guess these guys actually think Urban will be around. Urb is a drama queen, i guess kids like drama queens. I just don't get it. Maybe these kids now days are more in touch with their feminine side:jpshakehead::puke5::dunno:

Think some of it has to do with the state of Florida its about 80 or 90 degrees all the time. lol

The two announcements did happen. Dixon wanted to announce at the game on Saturday but was told all the time slots had been filled, so he made his intentions known Friday. Brandon Willis, of course, announced Saturday. You can decide for yourself whether or not they are "Big".

It is still a good day for us. For the first time in a long time, we have a coaching staff that seems like they are going to be able to actually develop the talent that we recruit. I think that Coach Kiffin and Co. will be able to find ways to win against #1 or #2 ranked talent with #4 or #5 ranked talent. And besides, we might end up with a big splash at the end, just like last year.

I hear you,but that was two on the defense side.The deal i'm talking bout was a quote,word,or what ever from J.Smith.

I dug around to find the source of the speculation but couldn't find anything. I want to say it was Jacques Smith that said it. What confused everyone was the comment about the offensive side of the ball since UT doesn't seem to be 'in on' any of the offensive prospects at the game. If I remember correctly though, he wasn't say they would necessarily announce Saturday he just thought UT would get someone soon. As nikesportsfan said, just a rumor.

the two commits we got are awesome. I didnt like how the two that played with the Vols hats then chose other schools (hey Hampton have fun pumping gas).:dance:

they do it with all the hats; it's nothing personal, they just like to create a little show

did u not see the kid who picked up one hat to move it next to the other, then put another one down on top of one, then picked up the michigan hat and nicen/straighten it up, and then quickly put it down to put on the oregon hat?

they all do that for show

Didn't Mosley actually throw the Bama hat on the ground and then pick up another Bama hat and put it on his head. He disrespected the hat of the school he was going to. It's just stupid stuff they do.

He picked up both the alabama and auburn hats and dropped them on the ground like he accidentally did it and then picked up his bama hat. It wasn't disrespectful

2034 Army All-American Game:

"Great time here at the Army All-American game. Todd Gakk announced his decision today. He began at a banquet table with 43 of the nations top programs hats on it. Wearing a North Carolina shirt, he quickly ripped it off and vomitted on the North Carolina hat! This revealed a Florida t-shirt underneath. As Florida Coach Tim Tebow began to walk towards him to give him a hug, Gakk shouted and pointed at Coach Tebow, "I don't like you man!!!!" Confused, Tebow sat down and ate a pop tart. Gakk then ignited the t-shirt with a lighter (while still wearing the shirt) drawing oohs and ahhs from the onlookers. This revealed a University of Georgia tattoo...

7 hours later, after a skin graft, various uses of monkeys, 3 speeches, a Native American rain dance and the amazing destruction of 42 hats, Gakk looked at the table, picked up the remaining hat and said, "I'm going to whatever school this hat represents."

Maybe Urban is hooking their gfs up with gymnastic scholarships. :)
