Big Dan McCullers to Steelers

As soon as they see he stands straight up and is about aggressive as a nat, he will be gone.

Even so, he WAS drafted into the NFL - unlike you, who are merely relegated to making snide remarks on VN from the comfort of your sofa. I think its pretty clear between Big Dan and you who is a winner and who is loserville. :shades:

I am not shocked at all. He wasn't that great at the collegiate level. Neither was Big Dan. Congrats to Dan for getting drafted.

I disagree... Other than some false starts and one bad game against Clowney that we still won, he was dominate.

You should realize that in the future, our rivals will use this against in recruiting. Negative recruiting against us.

"Tennessee had "Tiny" "Big Dan" and they didn't properly develop them in to NFL players. One was drafted late and the other was not drafted at all. Tennessee won't develop you for the NFL. Son, come to Auburn and we will develop you in to a 1st day draft pick."

If you are basing success by who gets drafted in the NFL and who doesn't, then that is crazy.

I can name many NFL players who are losers. They have self destructive personalities and didn't make the best of their opportunities. Heck, many have a piece of paper that says that they are college educated but they can't even spell "Cat"

So I guess they are going to get on this site, found what I posted and use it against us? Don't think so. What should be said about Tiny and Big Dan? That they were studs and were developed greatly for the NFL? This is just my opinion and I hope I am wrong and both of these guys become NFL stars.

If we were talking about character, personality, brains or much of anything else but football, you could have a point. But since he was specifically making a statement about Dan's playing ability, yeah, I think being drafted in the NFL vs couch surfing is a pretty decent comparison of success.

Not making fun of big Dan I wonder how many plays he was every on the field in a row, seem like every time after 2 plays he was coming out, wish him the best just wish he went to another team.

Total BS go check out how many OL and DL players went undrafted. We had 3 draftees same as TAM and one more Georgia and one less than Auburn and Florida. Like CBJ said last year the OL was believing all the fanfare about their ability

You'd be surprised how bad some scouts are. I don't think that guy is wrong though. If he doesnt toughen up. The Steelers will cut him.
I'm happy for big Dan.

The steelers are one of the better NFL teams in evaluating talent, especially on the defensive side if the ball. I believe I'd trust their judgement over some scrub on here.

So we can't post our opinion on a message board because you don't like it? Too bad!

The Steelers must think they can do something with him. The Steelers are going downhill anyways...

He will fit in just fine in Pittsburgh. They need a big damn DT to run stop because their Defense is falling apart at the seams. As far as Tiny is concerned I believe someone mentioned that he had something wrong with one of his knees, which could explain why the teams were hesitant.

Has bankrupted a couple of golden corrals

I disagree. If CBJ did anything for McCullers, he got him to slim down to play faster and better. He came to the UT weighing something like 370+ if I recall right. A tub of lard and a bucket of whale blubber. He enters the draft at 352lbs. He's either eating better or eating less. Golden Carrol fattens you, not slims you.

Side Note; I loved Golden Carrol when I was living in California. I refuse to eat at one here in Kentucky or possibly anywhere ever again.

I'm not so sure. Do we have records of what he ate while at Golden Corral? It's possible he stuck to the salad bar. This deserves a serious response.

Post all you want. Keep in mind that opinions and knowledge are 2 completely different things. Especially in your case
