TCU shouldn’t have been. But the win lose record allowed them to be there. Was they the best 4? Hell No!! They had to come from behind in like 5 games to win in the last few minutes if those games. Bama and UT would have put up a better fight than TCU did.

I’m originally from Johnson City. First girl I fell in love with was from Erwin. Lot of good memories from evenings in Erwin in 1973-4. Go Vols!

Unfortunately an outlier that cost us a spot in the playoff. A championship team can’t have those outliers. That said, I don’t think the 2023 team lets something like that happen again. That was an educational experience
