Of all the kids still Considering Tennessee or soft committed somewhere else, who is most likely to commit next or big our biggest commit. I know there have been a lot of threads, but most of them are outdated and wanted to see where we stood today.

I would like to add him but as much as i would enjoy a receiver, I would love to add a big time running back. I see that we signed a qb is he for real or not?

He is putting up some crazy stat's, but he plays in a pass happy offense. He is a very very smart kid ( has a 4.1 GPA ), is a great leader, & has very good accuracy. His arm strength & foot work are questionable but both of those can be fixed.

With The offensive line were developing I would like to see us become a physical running team, with a shut down D. We have Wilcox, we need to sell our offensive lines future to Isiah Crowell and try and steal Jeff Driskel.
Worley was/is the number one qb on our board. I don't think that we are going after another. Also, as nice as a big time running back would be, we should have all 4 back next year. Receiver is more of a position of need for next year.

Nice thought, but unless something changes drastically, I don't think we are truly players in the Crowell recruitment. Plus Driskel is locked in for Florida.

Ok, Worley was the #1 qb we were after where does that put Brey? My hope is that we at least call Driskel to see if we can at least talk to him and then hope Florida drops the ball. I just looked at Florida's roster, Florida Gators 2010 Team Player Roster - College Football - ESPN assuming Brantley is there starter he goes into Florida with 4 other qbs that are going to be sophomores or RS freshmen.

The whole plan was to redshirt Bray for this season, bring in Worley next season & redshirt him also. That plan might blow up for Bray since were so thin at QB. No matter what Worley will be redshirted next year.

No shot at Driskell, Worley is our QB & we have shut down all recruitment of any other QB's at all.

Why is Worley ranked as the 31st qb and only 3 stars?

This staff doesn't read into the rankings from recruiting web sites. They value what they see on film and in person. FWIW, Worley was the QB at the top of UT's board last year and this year. They like Worley more than any others...

Most times the QB in HS is the best athlete on the team. We could go after several QB's and they can end up playing another position. Plus we need several QB's - stack em up like cord wood. Maybe one of them will be great.

I have no problem with them wanting him and him being #1 I saw what he did in the 3rd quarter of that game, but i was just wondering why he was so low. I know rankings are not everything I like seeing that the top kids consider us every year. I just want to start landing them, I'm honestly really hoping A.J. Johnson starts a chain of bigger kids committing to us then maybe we get back into the running for Crowell. Even tho we have 4 running backs coming back next year you cant tell me if we got him we wouldn't use him.

If you mean Crowell, yes we would be happy to take him in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, like the Stones say you can't always get what you want...

Derek King would be a great sign. So if i remember it was said Worley comes in and Red Shirts next year and Brey most likely starts or is really close to starting next year in 2 years that puts Brey as a Junior and Worley as a red shirt freshmen that would set us up very nicely.

Also, Worley is rated at that level b/c some people believe he is a product of the system he plays in. They are a spread team that tosses the ball all over the yard. He put up 92TD's in his last two years combined. He is in SC, but if he did it in FL at a 6A school he would be one of the top prospects at QB in the country, IMO. His competition is what hurts him.

Thats true but you also have to remember we are looking pretty good with some qb's in 2012 too. Gunner Kiel or another freshman may be in the mix with Bray and Worley... TIFWIW.
