Of course it isn't fun to get sacked. Him responding with "were going to have a lot of fun", thus, implies that he doesn't think he will get sacked. Accordingly, he insulted our D-line by implying that they aren't good enough to get sacks against Bama.

The Dline should be angry and take it out on the Bama QB.

The whole comment.....We’re going to have a lot of fun,” Milroe said when asked about Tennessee’s pass rush. “We don’t care about none of that. It’s just another opportunity for us to have fun. We get to play in front of our fans this weekend. We’re going to be excited for that. A lot of energy is going to be in the air with playing a great opponent. … We’re looking forward to the challenge.”
I don't understand the big deal of what he said even without the context. Maybe he's downplaying how nervous he is but I took it as they don't pay attention to stats or rankings they are just excited to go out and play esp in front of their fans.

This defense has knocked out 2 QB's so far this year (Virginia and UTSA), and beaten the living hell out of Rattler and Johnson. Milroe is next.
Home games tho. Didn't show up against Florida.
I'm hoping Pilli being out was what got them confused with the motions and Pearce and Baron were just not fully there yet and now things have changed and we don't see that again.

Reading the entire context, he said he doesn't care about the "Tennessee pass rush". That is exactly what he said in the context of the question asked. I get he probably wanted to emphasis the have fun part et al - but he did end up saying - he doesn't care about the Tennessee pass rush.

Should have been more careful with his words. Sometimes you should think before you speak.

I see nothing wrong with his comment. He expresses confidence in his team while being respectful to ours.

It is the question he was asked which generated the comments - I agree he was probably trying to be respectful - but the "I don't care" part is where he got in trouble. He could have just said we focus on having fun without the "I don't care about that".

Our players get to think, "Care about this." Let's hope they do not let him get out of their tackles, especially on third and long.

That’s probably the dumbest-ass comment that has ever issued forth from a Saban-coached team. I wonder how many profanities Milroe had to listen to from the elf because of this? Unless the officiating for the game is corrupt on a UF level, this comment should help us. Because if ever there were a bulletin-board comment that should fire up the opposing team, this is it.
That is a fear of mine. Pass interference calls on our db's and their db's holding from backside and no calls. Also our wr's have got to catch the pass better. We have dropped some and also ref's didn't call a few pass interference calls on tex a&m that were obvious. Of course those clowns missed a face mask on us too.

I agree. If I was playing another team I would say the same thing. We are gonna do what we need to do and focus on what we do. Not the others. Every team/player out there knows if they play like they are suppose to. The outcome will be a win.
