Mizzou looks deflated...and we look fired up....it's still early to call it but we are moving steadily toward a 4 set close out.

We lead 18 - 5 and the Mizzou coach finally called for a timeout. I thought he was just gonna leave his girls out there to get killed.

Looks like we may have this one in the bag...

I know I've been over the top about the importance of this match...but winning it, and in four no less, is a very big deal. Anytime you can go into the home of a team that is hot on your heels in both the SEC and NCAA standings and get the win....well...that just special!

Very proud of our girls...

Sunday we go to Arkansas....and that ends our road trips for the season. Back at home next Wednesday we have Florida in a match that we probably should win and we finish up with Ole Miss, also at home.

Ditto here! At the risk of being redundant (you painted the match's magnificence brilliantly), I'll simply add that Tessa Grubbs supplied a masterful, articulate interview post game....courtside....live on air! Thanks, Strange!

Just learned that this is the first time we've ever beaten Mizzou in Columbia! That's like putting the cherry on top of the sundae ...or is it Wednesday? :)

Also, this win puts us into 2nd place in the SEC all by our lonesome. Kentucky sits alone in 1st place and I don't see any way we'll catch them. Second place for this team, with a 1st-year head coach, ain't nothin' to sneeze at.

Assuming we win Sunday, we should move up a good bit in the NCAA rankings...maybe...I hope....I really want the girls to finish in the top 20.

And Mo had not lost a home match all year! Great match and the slow start had me scratching my head. We beat a pretty good team tonight!

I just watched the post-match interview with Tessa Grubbs and she was really impressive. Well spoken, articulate, obviously intelligent, and extremely aware of how best to present herself in an organized manner. It makes me proud to have her as a representative of the University of Tennessee! :)
