Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Forest People in Tennessee

So what? Just because you can act like an A$$ doesn't mean you have to. It's called acting like a gentleman. A little maturity, class would go a long way. Maybe that's too much to ask.

With all due respect I don't believe in Bigfoot because there is zero credible evidence to suggest it actually does exist. Furthermore those that believe in it, make claims to have seen it, then offer no evidence whatsoever are a joke....with all due respect.

Better?

Sorry your highness. Excuse me sir.

Maybe he is not a big boy. But if you spew crap you better be able to take it when it's flung back. And since Fullfillmer is the one in question (and he is not offended judging by his lack of response), he can take it. Calm down mister.

Thanks to both of you for proving my point. Your post says a lot in my opinion. Like I said maturity is not either of your strong suits.

Maturity? So you believe in Bigfoot? Do you try to make grown adults believe in Santa or support their belief if they do?

No I don't believe in Bigfoot. I believe in having respect, showing class and exhibiting some manners as my mom taught me to. He's not one time tried to convince anyone to believe.

Do you believe in God?

Yeah, I saw his footprint in the mud but didn't think to take a pic.

Have you ever found a dead deer, bear, or any animal for that matter, that had died of natural causes? That means not been hit by a car, shot or anything else? I am gonna go ahead and answer the for you...no, you haven't. The woods should just be loaded with animal carcasses, huh? Especially with animals that aren't even closely related to humans and may have the brain capacity to make a concerted effort to not be detected, huh? The arrogance of MOST of the human race now, because of the technology we have is appalling. There are MILLIONS of square acres in our OWN country that have never seen a human footprint. Believe that. I wish more people were open minded enough to look into the evidence that is there. Get the PHD's who think they know everything from a classroom and scoff at these possibilities without doing their due diligence, out in the field doing real research. I am rambling...but do some research.

Can't find evidence of a living creature but have found plenty of evidence of extinct dinosaurs?

I am beyond ready to get back in the mountains this spring and I will be armed to the teeth with photography and video gear on most of my outings.

I am a firm believer in the value of wild speculation so any oddities that show up in my images I will post here.

I think you guys are onto something. What if Bigfoot has vampiric powers and can turn into a bat for some reason? Or maybe a pine cone.

I'd be a vampire. Like a nice middle ground vampire, maybe Interview with the Vampire style. Not a sparkly twilight vampire or a mutant 30 Days of Night screeching vampire.

If I were a vampire, I'd want to be like the one who helped Abraham Lincoln.

What class and manners are you talking about? He called somebody out for making **** up. Do you feel the same about the Brian Williams situation?

people are calling him out for making **** up.

If these things were in our mountains (GSMNP for me) and I could prove it, I don't think I would make anything public. We have enough tourists and regulations here with becoming a damn squatch sanctuary.

In your opinion he's making ish up. So you think its your job or his to call him out for what he believes? Let his post speak for him as yours does for you.

It's a public forum. Lighten up brah

I'm fine. If people want to act like horse's a$$es more power to them. What's ironic is they wouldn't act like this in "public" but on a "public" forum, behind the anonymity of the Internet they're ok with it. When is it "fun" to make fun of other people for what they believe? Childish IMO but that's just me.

In my time I've come across, dead raccoons, dogs, deer, and several birds while hiking around in various parts of the country. I've seen plenty of sign and scat of mountain lions, bobcats, moose, elk, bear, etc. I've seen all but mountain lions alive as well. Hell, I've caught a soft-shelled turtle with my hands in the Pecos River and rare frogs in the Colorado Rockies at 10,500 ft. If you are arguing that no one should have found a dead sasquatch, let alone shot one, that argument is pretty silly. North America isn't the Congo or the Amazon. There are 300 million people kicking around and as a whole is intersected with roads, has planes and helicopters flying over, etc. I've been to some lonely places, and I tend to find MORE animal signs and see more of them too, not less, the further I get away from all that.

I don't know how adults can believe in this sort of thing.
Cool story...I took the family to Grand Teton and Yellowstone back in 2011. The second day in GTNP it came a frog strainer that afternoon so I had to change plans for the rest of that day. We hadn't seen any Bison yet so we drove out to the flats past Mormon row. We found a large herd, and also saw several Pronghorn pretty close up with younguns. After that I decided to drive up the Gros Ventre river past Lower Slide Lake to see the red hills.
As we were driving back towards GTNP I passed a young man walking, just as I got to him a large herd of Big horn Sheep thundered down the hill about 50 feet behind the car. The guy started yelling "there's a mountain lion". I jumped out just in time to see it. It had chased the sheep down the hill. When he saw us he ran back into a tree line. I got lucky and was just in the right place at the right time....I have talked to several folks who have lived there for years and never actually seen the big cats....great experience that never would have happened if not for some bad weather that ruined my plans I had spent a year making...haha.
