Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Forest People in Tennessee

I've got a couple of buddies that have seen one.

One was driving a truck down highway 7 south out of Russellville Arkansas. As he fell off a hill his Jake brake kicked in and got its attention. It stood up and pulled its self over out of view behind a tree. He then watched it walk off through the woods.

Other buddy was at lake quatchita in Oklahoma. They were out boating around (tubing, skiing) and decided to ease off in a cove to take a break. They were headed in to the cove and it was on the bank. Mud all over it. It made some type of vocalization and walked off in to the woods.

This has not proven to be a very fair and balanced forum or venue for sharing either ideas or experiences which is a shame. I thought if anywhere there might be a fair-minded group it would be here. I also noted that I didn't have any interest in debating as I have seen those situations go sideways and in a hurry.

I do have a friend who will soon have National Geographic embedded at his property doing research with him. I have found multiple good East Tennessee families who have multiple encounters with "something". I am in the process of trying to sell a business and if successful that may free me up to devote more time to this hobby.

I would encourage anyone that has an interest to genuinely investigate and they will most likely be surprised what they will discover and uncover.

As always I am still looking for witnesses in and around East Tennessee - particularly with those that have had recent occurrences.

Thanks

Could have something to do with the fact you shot down legitimate questions from the beginning.

To be fair, you've simply made huge claims about evidence you have yet when asked about it you change the subject and whine about people not taking it seriously. That really doesn't help create a balanced forum or venue for sharing either ideas or experiences either

It is what you make it

This 1000x.

I'm a bigfoot believer too man. Be strong, don't let those people get to you. Some people will never believe until a sasquatch kicks them in their a** when they're walking through the woods one day. I think life is a lot more fun with a little mystery and the unknown. Some people think it's more fun to ridicule and make fun:no:. I don't like these type of people, and I sure as he** don't spend time worrying about what they think. Keep posting FF and I will keep reading. I think most people who do serious research on the subject, (open minded, with no agenda) will come to the conclusion that these creatures are probably real. Its just that most people aren't going to put the time in and do the research, so they make judgments on what they see and hear. They see a bunch of gun slinging rednecks on Mountain Monsters, looking like idiots, they are funny though:eek:lol:. It makes it hard for some people to take Bigfoot research serious.

Based on what?

And you mean to tell me all the people that claim that Bigfoot is real has done real scientific inquiry on the subject?

I don't recall having made huge claims - in fact I think I started by saying I was not trying to make any claims and didn't want to be drug into debate. When I had time and someone had a genuine sincere question I answered to the best of my knowledge and understanding - no more no less. When there was a comment I found interesting if I had additional insight I offered it up. I would indeed take and pass a polygraph that these are the facts as I know them. I am not forcing anyone to agree with and/or advocate that my position is correct - questions were asked and I answered. I could have easily avoided any controversy by not answering or not commenting but the challenge with that was that some on here were genuinely interested. Eventually the Asshats won out and it was more trouble than it was worth. If the Asshat fits - then you won -- and I quit answering questions and commenting. But I also won, because I no longer waste time and energy on discussions in the forum on this topic. Apparently, everyone was an expert and felt compelled to bash anyone who's ideas and understanding didn't match their own.

I am fine with that - I have better things to do.

Except you keep coming back, so obviously you didn't "win" and you obvoiusly don't "have better things to do".

Well I've never seen one, but I had two friends that saw something covered in hair, swinging its arms, walking on two legs, cross the road in front of them. After crossing, it jumped over a fence that was about 5ft tall without using its hands. This happened on a gravel road, back in the woods, at about 2:00 A.M., so I don't think it was a hurdler in a monkey suit. It was the 80's, so we had never heard of Bigfoot in Tennessee before. This started my interest in Bigfoot, but I really started researching the subject about 10 years ago. I recommend reading about sightings, there are thousands. This is where you can find real information. I really like reading about encounters that deer hunters have. When an avid hunter has an encounter and swears they will never go into the woods again, you know they saw something that scared the he** out of them:scare:.

I' don't see how an armed hunter would be scared shiiitless
When he has a firearm, and one well placed shot would end all speculation of bigfoots existence

Talk about believing, damn. You'll find Bigfoot making love to a unicorn the hard way before you'll find a fair-minded group on VN. We don't play that here.

FF,

I don't have a dog in this fight either way. I did enjoy reading this thread before a bunch of jack-wagons started bashing and ridiculing any post or opinion that was actually on-topic. Differing opinions is one thing, but some of this is just BS.

I hope you all enjoy your victory… You have targeted and silenced a fellow VFL who most likely is a great person in real life. All this just for discussing something of interest in an off-topic forum.

Freaking school-yard, cool-kid BS at its finest… Well done

I don't believe in the existence of Bigfoot.

I also don't think FF was treated fairly. He was ridiculed from the beginning, as I expected he would.

I don't think they're probably real because of science. I've researched over 1000 encounters and talked to a few people who've had encounters. After doing all this, I think they are more than likely real. When I started researching I had an open mind about it, I made my decision based on the research, I didnt just find research to back up what I already believed.

IDK, if they are really like 8ft tall and 500lbs a gun or arrow may just piss one off, better get a head shot. I do remember reading one report where a Hunter said that it was walking on two legs and its face was human like, so he just couldn't shoot it. I think some states actually have laws against shooting one, crazy stuff.

so where are the hunters camera shots of one ,we do know that hunters have cameras everywhere and I just don't see how that can be missed and not the grainy shots that you can't see

That's great and all but that doesn't really answer my question. You made implications and assertions about other people and how/why they've come to their conclusions.

Well I guess I could sit in my parents basement - eating potato chips, playing Assassins Creed and posting on this thread and others 60 times a day - making condescending remarks in all of them - like you do -- So I think it is likely you that doesn't have better things to do - I do.

I guess if you don't have a job - have never spent the night outside of your mom's basement it's easy to be an expert on what happens in the deep forests at night. I defer to your experience and expertise on the subject. Enlighten us.
