My first thought was - but your just one man and still found one.
How can every human that has walked, hunted, explored or excavated into the woods for the last 200 years, not have
stumbled across 1 set of remains.
That is assuming they actually die and we all know that squatches in fact do not die, nor do they sleep, urinate, poop, or throw up it would show weakness.
Bones get scattered.
Are we sure certain that squatches aren't shape shifters and routinely take the form of a squirrel or deer thus giving the impression that they in fact aren't what you believe you have seen? We also know that they communicate through telepathy and possess telekineses so it is likely that they can change their form when threatened.
