Bigger than Memphis- '07?

I remember that Memphis game being a huge win... 1 vs. 2 will solidify that... but under the circumstance, is this the biggest win this decade for our program?
*(So called) Best player out. (I thought he's been lazy and relatively unproductive in big games this year)
*3 other scholly players out
*Refs trying their dangest to lose us the game (Prince & Chism the victims of the definitions of ticky tack all game long)

Maybe its living in the moment, but it is SWEET!!!!

Memphis was nice because of the rivalry, and we were number 1 afterwards, but this is a huge win for our program right now at this point and time.

I'm not sure that you can compare the two...I guess I'd put them close to equal. Seeing us reach the top spot in the country (even if only for a week) was nice.

Now, time will tell. If this win gives our new "makeshift" squad confidence and we win the SEC and fare well in the NCAA, it will go up in importance to me.

yea those refs man sheesh called every little foul on us and kanses got away with EVERYTHING lol

This one solidified our tourney resume. That one was simply a big win and hollow milestone for a team headed to the tourney regardless.

The Memphis win ruined that squad because they bought the hype. This win will give some confidence to some guys and show that hard work on the D end can win.

Much more will come from this win.

Congratulations to Tennessee! We were pulling for you. Both Games were BIG for the Vols! This game was especially important because of the nightmare your Team and School just went thru. You will work through it and be better for it, keep the faith. Would be most appreciative if you could do our Tigers a little favor when the time come. DESTROY KENTUCKY! Thanks.

Really did seem this way at times. OP- this is IMO the biggest win in the Programs History, with close second being 66 against Riley and Co. Third being Memphis 07. Just my opinion.

For me personally, i'm enjoying this win much more. The win in 08 was bittersweet because of something terrible that i experienced earlier that day. I think this is also huge for this program at this point confidence wise. If we get blown out who knows what direction that we go for the rest of the season.

Kentucky fans are saying that this is our 66th biggest win. The top 65 are our wins against the wildcats. They never cease to amaze me.

Greta question, us being shrot-handed and all the program has been through since the arrests it's hard to argue, with that said the win vs Memphis is still bigger to me.

Memphis was bigger to me cause we beat #1 on the road, with us becoming #1. This game was HUGE though!!! We showed the nation we are still a good team and it gave our boys some much need confidence. Really impressed by the turnover margin.. GO VOLS!!:rock::rock:

This is the biggest win at our house ever! I had to listen to it on the radio while driving to work....didn't even get to see the broadcast. Totally awesome!

All things considered (on and off the court), I think this may be one of the biggest wins of any team, in any sport, I've ever followed.

Beating the #1 team on our floor with everything thats just happened to this program?? I say this tops the Memphis win in '07!!

And I was so happy for CBP!!! His reaction at the end of the game giving all of volnation thumbs up, pricless!!!

I say Memphis 08 is bigger we beat #1 on their home court we beat an instate rival we beat that jackass Calipari ending their perfect season and did something even if it was for just a brief moment we got to sit on top of the cbb world and look down on everyone else no guarentee that will happen again.
With that said today was extremely special and great way to go Vols.:)

by far this win over kansas is the biggest win for the program,with 1 player dismissed and 3 suspended and two more on bench in fowl trouble.here are the biggest wins for ut in the pearl era in my opionion kansas,memphis last year,at flordia last year a couple years back we beat texas and the game against kentucky they retired kings jersey there a few more but those are the biggest
