You think the calls, or lack thereof, this past weekend AT HOME were bad? Wait til we travel to Tuscaloosa. Gonna take a monumental effort to beat two teams next week. CJH needs to be more aggressive with the officials IMO to at least put a little something in their ears to think about.

Quite the contrary. I believe we have a great chance to win, straight up. But you cannot deny the officials have been pi** poor
I agree that officiating has been beyond poor as a whole this year. I don’t have any faith we can beat Bama. Bama actually has a good secondary. Of course Milton can’t really pass but even if he can Bamas secondary is good. I think Milroe is gonna give us huge problems.

I'll be honest, of what games of there's I've been able to watch, the refs haven't favored Bama too well the last 2 years - but Tenn benefited the most last year I've ever seen for them.

Bama was getting hosed last week against A&M too. This year has been atrocious and Tenn has been screwed over a lot this year.

The movement of the betting line will tell you how the officiating will play out next Saturday. The calls will go in the opposite direction of the bets.
Been happening consistently since the Music City Bowl.

So poor officiating is what lead to an under 50%, 100 yard passing performance? Come on man, just stop. Milton and the receivers are a huge red herring to this offense. Dropped passes, poor decisions, and undisciplined football have lead to mediocre performances. None of that is because of the refs.

How many college teams have had the ball placed then kicked by a official in your lifetime?????
As much as I agree with the point you’re trying to make, that drive did not cause us the football game. Instead, it was the 3 or 4 in the 2nd quarter that did. Sure that stopped our momentum, but to imply that was the reason we lost against Florida completed ignores the inexcusable performance of the 2nd quarter.

QB play should be your concern. The best QB wins next week.

Yeah poor Ark got the hose on a couple calls in the game Sat. Hell, Tennessee rarely gets a break (got a couple Sat after about 5 bad calls against) anyway.

I was in Tuscaloosa year before last for the game. I saw about four to five blatant holds by Bama’s OL before the refs finally called one. Several others the rest of the game with guys grabbing a handful of jersey or dragging our guys to the ground. I think they called one other holding call, maybe two. It sure seemed like willful negligence on the part of the officiating crew because you couldn’t miss those holds if you were half way paying attention to the LOS. Let’s not even get into the willful no call when Hooker got targeted…and that was nasty.

Losers blame refs. Yeah there’s been plenty of bad calls and every fan base has folks that cry it’s only against them.

Biggest concern is one person...JM. Do we get Clemson/SC Joe or TaM Joe? If we get Clemson Joe, we've got a real chance at a win. If not, no chance...unless we win the turnover battle and rush for 250+.

Half this board is obsessed with referees and college football analysts having it out for Tennessee. I may be alone here, but I think the QB missing open guys is bigger concern as well as open guys dropping balls when he does make the throws. We've got tons of posters whining about yesterday's officials, but you are being proactive and getting it in early. I salute you.
