Bill Clinton says Barack Obama must 'kiss my ass' for his support

wonder who'll be the first one to blink. Obama needs the Clintons' help to win the White House, and the Clintons need Obama's help in order to stay relevant in the democrat party.

Could be worse for Obama. Bill might want the Monica treatment for it.

Hmmm... I wonder how this will play out in the black community. With Bill Clinton being our first black president and what not...

I don't think Obama needs Bill Clinton nearly as much as people may think. If he is going to kiss an ass for support he would be better served going after Colin Powell.

I don't know about the Colin Powell vote (though I see your point), but I don' think that he really needs Bill Clinton's endorsement all that much...

i think the clintons are slowly dying away. they are still in denial about losing the primary to an inexperiance fascist.

The question to me wasn't whether or not he would get it...but does he need it?

I'm not sure he needs it but it would be a major blow to John McCain. Colin Powell, while not a huge conservative is still a republican and well liked military man. That has to carry some weight if he is in Obama's corner. it would be a big gain with (I) voters.

i wonder if Powell is doing this because he really believes the garbage Obama is saying, or if he is doing this for other reasons. either way i'm surprised at this. I knw mccain is not a very strong candidate for repub's but obama is way more liberal than most libs.

Maybe McCain can still get Bill Clinton. Pucker up John! :)

Powell was one of the few members of Bush's cabinet that tried to steer him out of Iraq, the best advice Bush got it and he ignored. Subsequently, I think the public has a great deal of respect for him still. I think it hurts McCain.

seperate himself as much as possible from George W., or perhaps helping push for the 1st african american pres.

i have no problem what race is pres. as long as i agree w/ what they stand for. i'm sorry i'm not an obama backer, i'm pretty conservative.

I will say I'd like to see J.C. Watts run for pres., I'd take him over mccain anyday. Actually I think I rather see J.C. run then any other repub.
