I have an ultra-conservative uncle who bought it for me as a gag-gift. I usually read pretty much anything, whether I agree or not. Could not get through the first two chapters of O'Reilly's self-love fest.

There are only two books that I have put down without finishing: O'Reilly's book and The Guinea Pig Diaries. Hell, I even made it through Mark Cahill's blathering idiocy called One Heartbeat Away.

My Mom is just like that but it's no gag. For Christmas one year she bought me an 800 page book defending McCarthy's actions. I've never been so disappointed to own a book. I had already read about 50 pages on the matter (from the same viewpoint), and that had been more than enough of the topic.

I personally enjoy when a 16-year old is an intellectual giant compared to that lilliputian, O'Reilly.
