Bill Snyder: One of the greatest coaches of all-time?

K-State played Colorado 21 times between in the 17 years that Snyder has been K-State head coach? They played Nebraska 22 times in that span? and OU every year?

Interesting...

From 1989 to 2010. Snyder is 4-15 in his 19 years they have played. This is his 20th year.

Because, at this point they are 6-0. Do you honestly believe that teams should be ranked according to what one thinks will happen in their upcoming games? They are ranked according to what they have proven on the field. K-State has, thus far, beaten every team on their schedule. If K-State happens to beat OU next week, would you allow them a Top 10 ranking? If this is the case, then why would you argue against them being ranked 11th (and, I will presume here that you would argue against them being ranked in the Top 15 at this point) this week?

If they beat OU they're obviously a legit team. However, their best win is over a Baylor team that has a Greg Robinson-style matador defense. Also, if we're going to hand everyone high rankings for beating crap teams, why not put Houston in the top 15?

Judging by your posts, I assume that you would also move to remove Boise State, Stanford, Wisconsin, and Oregon from the Top 10. I would also assume that on principle you would have to drop Alabama from #2, since the only decent team they have beaten is an Arkansas team that is struggling with Ole Miss.

All of those teams have looked impressive. KSU nearly lost to Eastern Kentucky and before today was being outgained on average. All I'm saying is that they've been very, very lucky and it'll run out soon.

And your the idiot that said this is his 17th year as head coach.

No, I made the correct observation that you stated he has played these teams over 20 times in 19 years of being K-State's head coach.

You might want to look at who coached K-State from 2006-2008...once you do that, you might want to just keep your mouth shut regarding things you know nothing about.

I will grant this concession; however, Snyder's style has never been "impressive". He grinds out the triple option and plays a bend and don't break defense (which has always given up a lot of yards and, at times, has really hurt some of his "great" teams).

This is his 20th year as HC. I didn't say 17 years.

"K-State played Colorado 21 times between in the 17 years that Snyder has been K-State head coach?"
