Thank you Chavy, Miggy, Dye, Reddick, The Big Three, Stewart, Welch, Big Mac, Byrnsie, Giambi, Chappy, Matty Olson, Murph, Coco, Cespy, Reddick, Donaldson, Crosby, Scuuts, LaRussa, Howe, Macha, Melvin, Hatty, Braden, Fiers, Foulk, Street, Izzy, Kendall, Balfour, Treinan and on and on. I’ll always be an Oakland A’s fan and love the Oakland green and gold. But it’s never going to be the same.
Screw you John Fisher. You should be ashamed of yourself, but instead you just drown yourself in your personal greed.
I met him twice. I have a nice 8 ×'10 somewhere signed.He’s reason 1a I’m a fan to begin with
Tim Raines? Saw him play in most of his AA games. He wasn’t there long.I met him twice. I have a nice 8 ×'10 somewhere signed.
Also had house door hanging card holders (like closet) with every raines and RH cards up probably 96ish, special editiond and auto from raines too
Im a huge Reds fan. I will always be that, but I liked Boog, Campy, Rudi, Raines, Rickey=a lot of non-Reds
Brock was a great one too. Gibson. Simba. Cardenal. Freakin TorreI know, we’ve talked about this.
He is the greatest leadoff hitter of all time. I am not a fan.
He broke the records of my all time favorite, who was full of class.
Cincy is a real baseball town too. If the Reds ever get legit good again, that city will come unhingedBrock was a great one too. Gibson. Simba. Cardenal. Freakin Torre
By the time i was gettin serial about the reds, i always worried more about dodgers, pirates, phillies.
Never minded StL
Great BB town

I think Cincy is a great BB town.
I saw an NLCS game there mid 90s and my wife and I had such fun in that city that day. I will have that memory forever.
I did see the Big Red Machine play a few times both in St. Louis and Cincy. The Reds are gon have to get some dependable dat gum bata that can break 240 and stay off the dat gun DL
I was at my grandparents house, they told us to be quiet and watch the tv. It was Nixon resigning.I remember the 72 series a little bit.
I remember a little watergate but didnt understand
75 is vividly clear
The A’s always had a great group of players that I gravitated to back in the day when I played baseball. Sure does bring back good memories. Eckersley was my favorite but Rickey was a legend.View attachment 681075Thank you Rickey. Than you Eck. A student who graduated from my school in probably 2014 was a nephew of Don Gullett. That was pretty cool.I was at my grandparents house, they told us to be quiet and watch the tv. It was Nixon resigning.
The ‘75 series is also a vivid memory for me. A good friend of mine from when I lived in WY, her father was on that team and Rose was her godfather. She did not have a good relationship with her Dad unfortunately.
