They are just there to make a political statement, they don't want answers. They are just there to appease their radical base

The problem is that its all posturing, by both sides. Barr is not there to give any actual new information, and the committee members on both sides are there just to give speeches.

What is needed is a subpoena to Barr to testify under oath and not in response to 5 minute scripted speeches, but rather real questions that he must answer. Who, what, when type questions.

Is he not under oath now? And how would that be any different with the same people “asking” the questions?

Why not go back further and subpoena Comey, Obama, Clinton, Clapper, Brennan, Steele, Wray, Rosenstien, Lynch, etc.

Ask them why they spied and lied.

They won't say it's bad because that's the base, they have to appease the base and they are fine with the violence and looting
