Billy Donaovan....going....going....gone (merged)

BD's not going anywhere, this is a ridiculous comment, no matter how many IF's you care to use. Billy Donovan is building a dynasty here, he will be the "Dean Smith" of Gator history. Everything he has ever said, lends itself to this logic. All the dreaming in the world won't ever change that. Just ask Magic fan in another month. The logical choice in your little fantasy though, would be Anthony Grant.

Looks like the Cat fans think he would be going to Oklahoma State if he is released.. :eek:k:

But then again, a lot of em still are confident that he sucks and isn't worth it because he didn't choose UK in the first place. I've never heard so much "we didn't need him anyway" "he's too short" "he just plain sucks" when JL did choose Florida.. :eek:lol:

That's Kentucky fans for you. They said the same thing about Brewer, Lofton, etc.....

Not if Florida does the right thing and releases him.

Foley will not let him out of his LOI to play in Lexington. If he does indeed ask to be released, I can see him heading back to Oklahoma to play in Stillwater. But I could also see him playing for Gary Williams at his father's alma mater.

Has he actually taken the job. ESPN is just reporting that he was only offered it. Are they just behind the news...?

the word i keep seeing is "it's a lock" that he goes to Orlando...i haven't seen anything said it's a done deal yet. but it could just be a slow news day.

Dick Vitale thinks he's staying at Florida despite the $2 million+ difference in pay.

Nope, no chance of that. Alex Legion, on the other hand, will be a solid contributor in an already solid guard rotation.
