I was standing in line at Publix waiting to check out, Milo's sweet tea with Splenda in hand, and noticed the headlines of one of the tabloid magazines: "Osama begged for his life and cried like a little girl."

I can't remember which tabloid it was but I can only imagine the fallout this magazine is going to cause. I'm just glad all the nations with Muslim leaders are standing up and voicing their happiness over Bin Laden's death. Hopefully, they will unite with us and we can stand together.

I think you meant to say Osama. Might want to fix that before somebody starts something off of a typo

I'm sick of hearing news outlets referring to Abbottabad as "Pakistan's West Point."

That's horse shat.

Still says Obama in the OP.

I'm starting to think these slips have something subconscious behind them.

he didn't have time to cry..
The seal popped him as soon as he got into the room

I think NEOCON was the one crying. He boo-hoo wishes Ron Paul would have ridden a gold-fringed chariot to Abbottabad and slayed the dragon with his mind rays.

I think you need to check out their new tank before making that comment.

Apparently GAVol changed that. Was NEOCON unable to edit it or did he just forget? Serious question. Apparently some people can't edit the titles of their threads, but I feel like I haven't had that problem.

I won't go that far. I'm a conservative, but I'm definitely not one of the guys who will accuse Obama of being a Muslim or something like that. That being said, I've even slipped up in conversations early in the week when discussing Osama's death. As annoying as it is, and as bad as it looks sometimes, the names are simply pretty close. It's not hard to slip up when discussing a situation where both are involved.

Now if you're talking about a conversation that only involves one of the two, and it's a frequent mistake, you may be on to something.
