Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, and the Future of Global Finance

Being regulated doesn't always stop it either. Crooks exist
Yes, but they particularly love to sell fake **** for real, hard cash in a totally unregulated industry. But don't worry. The crooks will be sure to hold your cash for you so that you can get it back when you're ready to sell.

A regulated industry decimated our entire economy little more than a decade ago. Prior to that many of those same people and companies were held up as the gold standard.

Are you going to consider "real hard cash" when the government issues a Central Bank Digital Currency? Cause you realize that's going to happen right

Tom Brady and Giselle both apparently got a severe haircut this week.

Couldn't be that bad. She just bought an $11.5M mansion in Miami right across the street from Tom. In all seriousness though, with the kind of money they have and a lot of it tied up in crypto, it had to be almost a complete buzz cut.

Not in crypto and never planned to be. I don't do what I don't know. I'm a pretty boring value, dividend and growth/tech investor. Own some real estate too that has worked out well. All that I definitely understand. All the young guys I work with have been in love with crypto, I mean ALL in. I've never been sure that they knew what they were talking about when explaining it and I've always walked away with more questions than answers. Seems it's still in the Wild West phase. Hope none of these young guys I work with got burned, but this can't really surprise anyone. Just seemed so fast and loose to me, but again, I don't know what I don't know. Steering clear for the foreseeable future.

Everyone will lose their minds when it sinks in what CBDC's actually are. Right now the escape hatch is wide open while people walk right by it thinking their wealth is safe.

And when the crypto industry goes tits up, who is going to bail them out? Yeah, no one.

When the last drooling idiot realizes the money printing presses have passed the point of no return who will bail out the entire worl? Better question what will the new system be driven by? Figure it out before it's to late.

Hurts now that your house of cards is falling apart, doesn't it? Sorry dude, I've made all the money I need to live a comfortable life, but you go ahead and invest in the hopes and dreams of a computer calculation and tell yourself that it's the future while you value it against the dollar.

Not me, I haven't lost a penny, but according to Reectn, I'm an idiot.

Those of us that did research and bought utility early are still way way way up!!!

And

We have seen this happen countless times over the last decade and keep gaining more wealth from the impatient that have no clue how this works.

What happened this week will be like a paper cut when USDT gets exposed bringing the ancient tech of Bitcoin down with it.

Just like in 2000 the .com weeding out phase is very necessary and unavoidable.

And that's a bad thing? Those regulated scammers made illegal deals, lied, stole trillions, wrecked the economy, etc. Even knowing all that you're saying bailing those same people out with tax dollars is a positive?

Keep fighting it though and you'll get a govt coin. That's when things get really fun
