He doesn’t have the recruiting acclaim KC did but he’s an outstanding PG. He’ll be very key for the team next yr. He won’t have to be the dominant player KC was. Hopefully inside game will improve greatly.

We all love ZZ but he’s a great change-of-pace guy. I’m not sure him starting & playing 30+ every night is gonna be the answer. Teams down the stretch put challenges on him that he can’t handle physically. Edwards will be able to.

Interior post game won’t be much better unless we recruit from the portal. Our freshmen will improve but not a the level to compete for final four. Barnes admitted during post game that this team lacked a an inside game to offset a bad shooting nt from the perimeter. Our guards did most of the damage in the paint.

Need a rim protector and a guy whi can go get a basket down low. I knew that big man for MU would dominate.

This team’s weakness was inside. Guard play was good enough. It couldn’t handle teams with great inside presence. It was very obvious early before Barnes got offense going. For all the good recruiting, there are no beasts inside. Have to have that come tournament time. Contrast between playing a team with 6’7’’ center a 7 foot center all too clear n

I have to disagree with this. Our rotation in the post is only going to be more certain next year losing Fulkerson.

BHH/Uros and Olivier/Aidoo will be our "two deep" at the 4 and 5 positions. An offseason in the weight room for both Aidoo and BHH will be massive for their expectations next year. BHH and Olivier should also improve their shooting from midrange and maybe 3 point as well. Defensively, Uros and Aidoo will only get better. At the core of this team, having 4 scorers on the court with a defensive big at the 5 will be our identity. I don't see how anyone can say there is no certainty with our front court for next year or two.

I'm sure Chandler will be gone, but as JJJ taking him under his wing last night, and seeing how emotional he was about the loss...just wonder if he wouldn't run it back one more time. Probably not, but would love to see.

My guess is find the NIL deal that pays him $5 million for one more year. Top 15 picks get atleast 2.8 million in their first year. I think KC is between 10-20 range pick.

Im not sure how recent it is, but I was looking at mock drafts last night. He was at 28 in the mock.

Kennedy may have been more emotional too knowing is college days are done and gone. Just a thought.

Yeah. I think KC played himself up the draft board these last 10 games.
He played an incredible month. He improved every aspect of his game. That said, his measurables are weird, and he isn’t Curry from 3 or Morant going in. That AAU underhand scoop shot is incredible to teams who don’t know it. In the NBA, that looks like a slow moving delicious marshmallow. He’s going to be a tweener yesterday, today and tomorrow. I’ve seen analysts say he may be the rare player who can move up 5-10 positions by improving his 3 and his understanding of defenses. He’s a freak. We won’t get another freshman PG with this bag of tricks again. I’d take him over TyTy or anyone else. I sure hope he stays.

The frontcourt should be good next year. The two freshmen will develop.

I said it in the Philips thread, but I won't be shocked if BHH isn't on the roster next year. Guys that struggle with work ethic (and despite the press clippings he still has a long way to go apparently) typically don't stick around long with Barnes. Making it through an offseason program is much harder than making it through the season. Not to mention he has a family member that is apparently a major headache to say the least. Im considering BHH being back as a bonus and not a guarantee at this stage.

I saw a kid who improved at the end of the season. I think he’s working.

Telling the staff he is coming back and still being here at the start of next season are two totally different things. I'm not saying he is definitely gone, but there is enough going on with him that you shouldn't bank on him being back either. Thats all I'm saying.

Well, if he wants to leave or get recruited again, so be it. Sometimes parents/advisors ruin their kids.

Nobody expected Dickinson to go 3 for 4 from 3 point land. He had just made 8 in 32 previous games. That's the shot we wanted him to take but 9 of his 27 points came from 3 land. He misses all 3 of those and we are probably up double digits at the half but give him the credit he knocked them down. If he could do that every game he would be the #1 pick.

All i'll say to that is, I hope hes back. He showed his potential just needs to put the work in. The last thing we need is more turnover in the post.

I could see a big step forward for BHH on the interior. He usually makes pretty good looking post moves, but he also just consistently misses whatever shot he gets out of those moves. A little more strength and touch and those start going in. Needs to work on his hands as well.

Aidoo will hopefully make some strides, plus the return of ON should make a difference as well. I think even Jo could work on a post game, as he showed some flashes of it in the last few games.

I think we'll have options there.
