I know you don't embrace that motivation, yourself, but reading this board day in and day out its pretty easy to confirm that a signfiicant percentage of people calling themselves conservatives want to cut social spending just 'cause they are mad at it.

It makes me mad because it allows people to be lazy and live off of other hard working Americans.

I have no problem giving money to those that are handicapped, disabled due to military service, and the elderly that have given to society and cannot afford to live off their retirement and Social Security.

I do, however, dislike my tax money being spent on crackheads, meth heads, career breeders, and the other useless bastages that abuse the welfare system in this country.

One of two things is going to happen. Either the economy is going to double dip or at least stay flat and the GOP will pick up some seats. Or, the economy is going to continue to make progress, in which case the Dems lose seats, but surrender neither the House or the Senate.

The only thing I am sure of is that the Tea Party is going to ultimately marginalize itself. Already there are too many chiefs in that thing, not enough troops.
