OT: Does anyone else think that the SECT in itself is overkill, if not stupid. I see no point in the same teams who have already played 16 games in conference, playing a sudden death tourney right after finishing that season.
I love CBP's play anyone anwhere anytime philiosophy. Even when we lose at least it's really cool to see us play Kansas, Marquette, Texas, Gonzaga, Ohio State, Georgetown. I would love to see more quality national matchups instead of a third game against USC etc. In a tournament that means exactly what?
It always begs the question. Do the top seeds really leave it all on the court to win the SECT, or do they tune-up to get ready for the REAL tournament which immediately follows?
JMO. But I think it's dumb.
