This right here would electrify the stadium. Even have it announced like they do each week that the uniform is orange and white and right before the team runs out send another announcement that says trick or treat, we changed our minds

Fortunately, absent a strange agreement with Georgia, we won’t be wearing the Smokeys. They’re considered an alternate “home” uniform. Because LSU plays home games in an away jersey, the white, we got to wear home jerseys and chose Smokey Gray.

I’m a traditionalist but I do think doing something like dark mode could help, when you switch it up it brings excitement feel like we would be less likely to sleep walk through KY and look ahead to Ga I don’t think this team will be looking ahead but I don’t want to take any chances every game is the Natty from here on out

Black uniforms for players, all orange in the stands, would probably look crazy intimidating.. poor Kentucky lol (we also have to factor in a section of blue occurring 😂 so we have to work around that)

Since it is a night game, it will likely be cold. All I have are orange hoodies. I reckon I gotta go buy something black.

I do have a black Maryville Rebels hoodie. Is that acceptable?

Nothing beats white jerseys with orange pants for me (but that's an away combo right?) I'd love to do dark mode. I just think the white helmets look goofy with the black on black. Needs orange helmets or black ones.

I'm a uniform snob, and I think our orange over white is one of, if not the most, iconic uni's in all of college football. So in my mind, why deviate? However, INAM, and if dark mode gets the players amped to crush Kentucky, then have at it. This program has earned the right to do whatever the heck it wants with uniforms. I'm along for the ride (no matter how putrid those grey / dark mode uni's are :) )

The first time we wore whites (since the early Majors years, at least...I think 1980 or so) was the 1992 game against Georgia in Athens. First year of the division splits, so it sorta started the rivalry. Heath Shuler's coming out party. Classic matchup of Shuler vs. Eric Zeier. Garner/Stewart vs. Garrison Hearst and Andre Hastings. Shuler led a winning drive at the end to win 34-31. Fulmer was filling in for Majors. The whites looked pretty cool that day, I must say.

Tennessee will definitely wear black helmets with the black uniforms later this year. The one pictured is not exactly what they will wear.

They will wear an orange helmet at some point in the future, perhaps this year, but I doubt it will be with the home orange uniforms. I’m fairly certain they don’t have enough of them in to even consider wearing them Saturday.
