and Miami per college football talk.

A&M would make a lot of sense with Knight leaving, their WRs and Sumerlin.......boy that would piss the bamers off.

Saban would have to approve, right?

Nope. Enrolled already at a JUCO

Texas A&M, others, reaching out to Alabama transfer Blake Barnett

A source close to Barnett tells 247Sports that he enrolled Thursday at Palomar Junior College in California, where he will attend school through the spring semester, which ends May 27. From there, Barnett, a class of 2015 five-star recruit per the 247Sports Composite, will return to the FBS ranks of college football to play most of the 2017 season.

Right - I meant if he wanted to transfer somewhere right now and play immediately.

He'll be in the SEC next year if he goes juco.

Im not sure he can go from a SEC team to a SEC team.

I think he's going to attempt a JC loophole. Complete 12 hours and some other criteria and be eligible at any school of his choosing after the fourth game next year.

I don't think he's quite mobile ebough to run Sumlin's offense to perfection. But he's got a good arm, so he'll bring a lot to whereever he winds up.

He'd have to sit a year per NCAA rules were he to transfer from an FBS school to an FBS school anyway, wouldn't he?

Not if he completes a 12 hours requirement amongst other criteria...then he's eligible after the 4th game next season.
