TBH to improve his outlook he probably should kick the tires on Ole Miss. I will never forget what Lane Kiffin did with Jonathan Crompton. If Kiffin was interested he could possibly get more out of Nix than Malzahn or Harsin. Also Kiffin probably doesn't want a young all american. He would like the roster to be wide open whenever Arch Manning comes available.

Rumor is that TX gave Ewers around $4-5M in NIL.

Nix isn't Ewers but someone may need a serviceable QB and offer him a million or so. Also, Tank is in the portal too...... and Auburn is probably going in the tank.

UNC has a 4 star former Bama commit ready to come in. Don’t know how that would go over with the Maye family at UNC if they gave it to Nix.

Scott Frost and Bo Nix seem like a destined matchup to me.

Personally I will reserve judgement till all this portal stuff is hashed out. Alot of players may see what worked out for other players. Jameson Williams and Henry T. Being a couple examples. Hey youre a pretty good player one place and you transfer to a school with better expectations and play for something bigger. Or the ole I don't like how I am being used Im taking my ball and going somewhere else.

The transfer portal gives and taketh away. Ill wait and see the difference of who they lose compared to who they get. Last year taught us the transfer portal can be cruel and yet forgiving at the same time. In Bo Nix place he has always loved Auburn but alot of those fans were wearing thin on him. I think he wanted to leave before it got worse and just go somewhere else and focus on his stats and maybe make a NFL roster or taxi sqaud.

While I hate to root for someone to fail, there is just something unlikeable about Ewers. Honestly, what I have seen from in interviews, he reminds me of Josh Rosen when he was at UCLA. There is something about both of them that just rubs me the wrong way.
