For the past few weeks, I’ll be typing a post and it blinks and disappears. I try to remember and COPY ALL so I don’t have to start over. Only happens on mobile.

Yeah I’ve experienced the same. It seems to be an iOS thing. It happens to me other places too. It seems to happen less for me with the web app but that may just be in my mind. You might try that if you haven’t.

Happens on the app, too, fairly frequently.

Mine freezes and pops up option to wait or close on a Samsung tablet
I have close page and reload alot since update
Other open tabs don't freeze just VN @Freak
Done it twice to me in last few minutes

My virtual keyboard disappears (happened when typing this post, lol). I'll be typing away and it just goes. Don't lose what I've typed but I have to touch the text box again and it pulls the keyboard up again.

Not sure about this one, Sto. I'll keep my eyes open. Are you using Chrome browser?

I had that happen last night for the first time. I'm looking into it.

I have the same issue (Samsung browser also) with this site and one other forum i frequent. It seems it's usually due to a tweet loading that's making it freeze. It was doing it before the board update.

I've had 3 white flashes on iphone with deletions of my messages today. Is there any news on the issue? @Freak

We made some code changes to try to address the page refresh issue causing posts to be lost. Anyone notice a difference - good, bad or not at all?

Not sure if it has been pointed out already but new notifications alerts seem to not be showing up a lot of the time. If you click the bell they are in the drop-down but the bell either won’t have the accurate number of red alert notifications, or it won’t have them at all. I’ve noticed if I go to a new page the red number alert on the bell goes away so maybe they just aren’t persisting, idk.

If you get a notification but read that post, whether clicking on the bell or just reading the thread normally, the notification goes away.

Does this account for likes too? They don’t consistently show up either.

Does reading the thread mean no matter what page I’m on? Like, I’ve been behind a few pages and make a post and then continue on reading and I won’t get a notification but then a few pages later I will see people have responded to me, but I never got a notification.

I believe it does apply to likes also, yes. I have alerts for likes turned off so I don't have much experience there, however.

In your scenario, I think you have to be on that page. When you say you never got a notification, you mean you didn't get a red number on the bell, or it's not in your notifications at all?

The notifications are the same as before, or should be. The only thing that changed is the marking of them as read when you view the page where the notification originated from.

Just the red number on the bell. I’ll keep an eye on it and see if it only happens on the pages I’m on or even if I’m behind a few pages. It’s not biggie just thought I’d ask as I noticed it changed right when the board did.
