This picture got me a little emotional. Also, did anyone hear their post game or their final sign off?View attachment 731979
I listened to the post game with my mom and kids. We were at my parents' house for Sunday dinner and the game. Watching this team lose and then listening to their post game, and the final sign off for Bert and Bob, I honestly felt just so sad. Not angry, bitter, disappointed, or down. Just absolutely so sad, like it was my kid out there or something. I just loved this team so much and of all the Vol B-ball teams I've watched in almost 50 years of life, this was the one I wanted most to be the first to a Final Four. Bob could drive me crazy, but hearing that final sign off on top of the loss and the pressers afterward near about killed me.

I’ve been listening to the Vols on the radio for as long as I can remember. I’ve had the pleasure of having John Ward and Bill Anderson for 1st 27 years of my life, and Bob & Bert for the last 26. Doubt there are many athletic programs , Pro or College, that have been so blessed. Good luck Mike Keith. You have an incredible legacy to maintain.
Mike Keith is much better than Kesling, should have gotten the job after John Ward

Yes, I made it a point to listen to the end... Bert getting choked up tried to get me choked up. Always tugs at the emotions to see an era end, and I know those guys wanted to see the Vols in the Final Four as much as we did.
