It has been confirmed that when UNM officials met Mike Leach in Fla the pirate showed up 45min late wearing flip flops, shorts and a torn shirt. While Davie interviewed in a suit and and with a 40 page document in hand of all the high school players he plans on recruiting and how to rebuild Lobo football.
From what I heard Davie blew away the AD and President in his interview with a complete plan on how he intends to rebuild UNM.
on a side note. Davie's first game watching the Lobos should be interesting as they come to visit us in Laramie this weekend. They are 24 point dogs. A win and we become bowl eligible.
