Bob Stoops says Big 12 is better than SEC

His Oklahoma team beat LSU in the Cotton Bowl once I believe.

Arkansas, in the 2001 Cotton Bowl, and I'm pretty sure that's his only win versus an SEC team in a bowl game. He lost the other 4, including the thrashing A&M gave them last year.

Stoops has always had an inflated ego. He's ate many humble pies on the field against SEC teams though. How about he shuts up and actually beats some decent teams before he talks smack.

This is about the third time he's said that in the last few months. At the rate he's going, maybe we should just combine them all for a running thread?

(Just because I bet he says it again before or during the season)

The Big 12 is:
Two traditional powerhouses (Texas and Oklahoma)
Some good but not truly great teams (TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma State, WVU, Kansas State)
One mediocre team (Texas Tech)
Two irrelevant teams (Kansas and Iowa State)

To be fair Texas Tech was good while Leech was there.

Speaking of, did anyone see him on first take today when he said he feels the pac 10/12/14/64 is better top to bottom than the SEC? I'd debate that Vandy and KY could go to bowl games perennially in the pac 12.

Kentucky couldn't; Vanderbilt's depends...this year's Vanderbilt or the usual 2-3 win Vanderbilt?
