Bob Stoops is never leaving Norman. With the current setup, he can compete every year for the Cow12 title and obtain an invite to a good Bowl game. Potentially, he'll catch lightening in a bottle every 6 years and get an outstanding player that will put them in the hunt for the title.

Thats all the people of Norman can/should/are willing to expect of him.

What would you like for him to say?

I'd imagine that BigXII, B1G, PAC-12, and SEC coaches, fans, and players, respectively, all think and proclaim that their conference is the toughest conference in the nation. Unfortunately, due to the conference system, there is no standard measure of truly rating and ranking either teams or conferences.

Of course he's going to say that. He's wrong, but it shouldn't shock anyone that he would say it. He is the coach of one of the premier programs in his conference. If even the Oklahoma coach admits the SEC is better, what does that say about everyone else?
