Bobby Knight's interview with grandson

I agree. If I were a station or news desk manager around there I would quit sending my people to any Knight news conferences and let him discuss the game with his grandson, the janitor or anybody else that is interested in listening to his bs.

Knight is more interesting than any of the crap they put on at prime time.

The sad part is, this wasn't even Knight on his A-game.

At that point, people would stop watching your station. That's the great part. The media wretches need Knight. Conversely, his life would suffer not one bit if they disappeared from the face of the earth.

agree to disagree. Knight wants the limelight. As long as he acts like an a$$, he'll get his five minutes on TV after each game. otherwise the coach's interview is a just an afterthought. The media needs Knight and Knight needs the media.

i seriously doubt Knight would lose any sleep if the media some how went away. however, i do think he might be a little disappointed that he no longer has anyone to mock on a regular basis.

Remind me again, what's his success in college basketball? His way's worked pretty darn good, he's got a little more than his 5 minutes of fame.

My grandparents are/have taught sunday school forever on both sides of the family. Still, in 16 years, they've let a word or two slip, I find it impossible that someone can go such a long time without one single bad word

I don't know, I'm not trying to call you a liar, but not anything, anything at all? In your whole kid life, you never heard one little slip of the tongue

Sorry, not trying to make judgement, but my family is one of the nicest/Christian like families out there, but yet they're not perfect. But, hey, I don't want to place blame, sorry to come on too sarcastic about the subject.

My family is similar to yours and we have never claimed to be perfect. I think it is a simple case I never heard my grandparents swear. I seriously doubt that means they did not do it.

Let's just all agree that this kid will not be scarred for life just because his grandfather has a potty mouth.

Deal?

i never once mentioned five minutes of fame. I've even commended Knight on this board as a top tier coach. Maybe you're AP English teachers can help with your reading comprehension. All i said was he wants to make sure he gets on TV. And with yet another episode like so many before this one, that's exactly what Knight got.

I really think he could care less about mine, yours or anyone's opinion. How many NCAA Championship Coaching games has everyone on this board coached combined? Yeah, like he's really going to give a darn about what anyone says, he's done it his way and it's paid off.

and didn't I essentially say that in a lot fewer words than you towards the beginning of this thread?

However, he wants everyone to know he doesn't give a crap and he'll continue to showboat his way through press conferences and interviews to show it.

Why does that bother, he's a winner. He's earned his right to do it his way

If you're failing miserably in the argument, change the subject at hand. Good job. Never mentioned if he's earned the option of acting that way.

Show me how I've changed my argument? BTW I'm still waiting in the Spears thread for all of that evidence you've had, take your time for your excuse

you haven't even followed the argument. You can't comprehend words well enough to understand their meaning. I never mentioned anything about 5 minutes of fame, even though most the world calls it 15 minutes of fame and I never said he hasn't earned his position.

Stunna already showed one fine example, and you've shown a handful of other examples in your lame duck threads today.

Whatever, way to hold up your discussion over there, anyway, the only thing that I've said on here was that I bet that Robert could really care less about what everyone says, he has won championships, so I don't me and you really have a say-so in the argument. His way's worked well, end of discussion
