"I hope fans remember me as a guy who wanted so bad to win and to represent Tennessee,'' Maze said. "I played as hard as I could.''

I know I will remember Maze as this type of player and as a fan, I appreciate having a player like that on our team, that represented Tennessee the way he did, and as hard as he played:rock:

I belive all of these seniors can hold their heads up knowing the took Tennessee basketball to place it had never been, and I'm not just talking about the Elite 8..

They raised the bar quite high for incoming and remaining players..

I appreciate everything they did yesterday... I didn't want to get to the Final Four as much as I just wanted the oppurtunity to watch these young men play another game in the Orange.. They were just that entertaining..

He improved greatly from last year and was very important in our biggest wins this year. He also represented UT very well.

Yes, they did and Maze had a lot to do with it. Pearl has raised the bar every since he stepped on campus. Go Vols!

I wish we could have Wayne, Bobby, and JP one more year! I miss them already. Good luck and thanks for laying it on the line for the Big Orange!

Bobby only had 2 seasons but it felt like he'd been here 4 years, and now he's a Vol legend.

The experts didn't give this team a chance to beat San Diego State (remember all the experts were picking San diego State for the upset). Well this team proved them wrong 3 times and almost 4. I will remember this team for a long, long time. GO VOLS BRING ON FOOTBALL!:huggy:

this year he came on strong. He played well and tough and was a big reason this team went as far as it did. Not a great player, but a kid with toughness and moxie. I'm sorry he's doesn't have another year...

I wish the ball was in his hands at the end given his ability to drive and dish or shoot free throws. We wouldn't have made it this far without ya, Bobby!

Great post. My thoughts exactly.

Thanks seniors, you will be missed.

This is a special team. A true team. They will always be one of the alltime favorite Tennessee teams. That is why this loss will never be forgotten and this team and expecially the seniors will always be special to anyone that had the privilege of enjoying them season. What a class act of young men!

If any of you get the opportunity to tell them personally do so for me also.

Bobby just played amazing this year. I already miss Maze, Wayne and JP. They represented UT so well.

This is why this team will be remembered. This was not the most talented team in UTs history, but possibly the best, senior leadership from bobby and wayne especially is a big reason why

I've never been more poud to be Vol fan as I have been watching these guys play this year; especially in the NCAA tourney. They did it when everyone said they couldn't. Awesome leadership by Weezy, JP, and B Maze. Going to miss you guys terribly!

I hate with every fiber of my being what happened in January, but this group of guys were actually a much better "TEAM" after the incident and after Tyler was dismissed. That is in no way a shot at Tyler, but I don't believe this team gets this far with him. They had better chemistry and were more of a "TEAM" without him. Sometimes it works out that way.

GBO!!!!!!!!

i agree . I do not remember a vol that has been as clutch at the end of games. He seemed to always break the press and make free throws.

I would disagree with you. This is probably the most ATHLETICALLY talented teams in Tennessee history. I cannot remember seeing so many lobs and break-away dunks, and Brian Williams REALLY started to dominate the paint inside on rebounds and put-backs. Bobby Maze is as athletic a point guard as I've seen in recent years. J.P. Prince...WOW...did HE come a long way or what from last year?

Remember his "clutch" free throws in the OSU win?!? He hands down is one of the top three maybe two on our team in the stretch.....

He will be sorely missed!

Those will be hard to forget. I was a bit nervous but he was only one of 2 guys I would want on the line in that situation (other being Chism).

Thanks BMaze
