Bobby Maze quote after the game

He might go down as my favorite player because of his clutch & intensity... how was he not the guy taking the shot with 11 sec instead of Hopson?

I ask that same question. IMO, Tatum should have been playing more and Hopson less for the entire season. Hopson disappears in Big Time games. Always has, pure and simple.

The experts didn't give this team a chance to beat San Diego State (remember all the experts were picking San diego State for the upset). Well this team proved them wrong 3 times and almost 4. I will remember this team for a long, long time. GO VOLS BRING ON FOOTBALL!:huggy:

AN AWESOME SEASON!:dance2:Even though the Vols had 30 wins (or was it 31 just 2-3 years ago), this team may be better. They had the opportunity to win 30 too. Just missed beating Purdue earlier in the season and just missed the Final 4 by 1-2 shots. This may be the "season that got away." This TEAM has done wonders from happened earlier in the season. Great job Vols! We're proud of you!:clapping::eek:k::salute::bow2:

I belive all of these seniors can hold their heads up knowing the took Tennessee basketball to place it had never been, and I'm not just talking about the Elite 8..

They raised the bar quite high for incoming and remaining players..

I appreciate everything they did yesterday... I didn't want to get to the Final Four as much as I just wanted the oppurtunity to watch these young men play another game in the Orange.. They were just that entertaining..

Me too this team played with more heart than any other team in the tourney this year.

In Big Vol Daddy's youtube video of being at the airport, BVD says something like thank you so much for all your effort. Bobby was signing something for him and said quietly, "Man I wish we coulda won you all another game."

I appreciate his effort, and hope he has a great life going on from here on out.

One of my favorite Vols to put on a basketball jersey. Our seniors really did their thing this year. Wish Tyler could have been a part of it. Thanks B-Maze, great year and good luck

The result of the game was a bummer, for sure, especially since we played quite well, but I agree with everything above. Hard fought & a game & season to be proud of.

Each of the 3 seniors greatly contrubuted. But what if any of them hadnt been there, we wouldnt have got there without wayne, jps d, or bobby's leadership.

It's going to really suck losing a scrappy player like BMaze. I hope he gets to play somewhere after his years here at UT

Maze did represent the Univerisity really well. All 3 seniors have contributed a huge amount to the program. Good luck to all with their pro careers. The bar in Knoxville has been set rerally high, not only by CBP but also by these 3 seniors. Imagine how good Bobby could have been if CBP would have had him from his freshman year......"Put On" Bobby, Salute J.P. and give every bit of your heart for Chism. Thanks guys GO VOLS!!!!!!!
