This is great, jared lorenzen (yes, him) came out of the woodwork to talk/warn about how bad of a hire this is for UF:

“Seriously Brent Pease at Florida? He’s freaking crazy and was brutal at UK when I was there. Won’t be able to handle it and will be run out!

The good thing about Pease at UF is now we can shut them down. #nohalftimeadjs

@vaughtviews @ajr0031 just can’t believe it. They will see him crack early an often. Sooo mny stories about that person.”

Reports that former UK offensive coordinator Brent Pease will be named as offensive coordinator at Florida have not sat well with his former quarterback Jared Lorenzen.

From @JaredLorenzen22:

Jared did receive one response from @NathanTeater

@vaughtsviews that big bad Brent Pease may ask players to be in shape. How dare he do that

I care because our new DC will have to beat their OC.

Considering the gap and direction of the two programs at this time, I wouldn't expect a victory next season.

Dude, what?

Florida had some bumps in the road with their season but they appear to be headed in the right direction with a quality hire at the OC position and a top 5 recruiting class coming in with the potential to be top two. With other key notes: They are just 4 years removed from a MNC and have made several BCS bowl appearances recently.

Tennessee on the other hand failed to make a bowl game, has lost 2 position coaches and 1 coordinator, several key recruits and has a strongly divided fan base in support of this current staff.

That's not my opinion, just the reality of the situation with the two programs.

The ONE difference in our seasons last year... We layed an egg against Kentucky, they didn't... or else our seasons were the same... only one of our losses was Arkansas and one of theirs was Auburn. Brantley got hurt, killed them. We had injuries, killed us.

Both were/are young football teams. They probably have more defensive talent, we are building quality depth on our defense. We have more offensive talent, especially with Demps and Rainey out of the equation.

When Alabama won their first title, they were 3... I think... years removed from a 6-7 season. So what happens 4 or so years ago doesn't always decide what is happening now.

Our fanbase being divided over the current staff has literally zero reflection on whether or not we are in a worse position than Florida currently is. You act like their roster is 1,000 times more talented and more quality than ours.

And I'm fairly sure your statement, "I wouldn't expect a victory next season," is a statement of opinion.
