Bolts vs Colts

Having a single Super Bowl ring puts him in elite company. Trent Dilfer, Mark Rypien, Doug Williams, and Jeff Hostetler, to name a few.

Considering there have only been about 30 QBs with at least one ring out of all the QBs that have played in the last 40 years I'd say that is elite company by definition.

How is that BS? I most certaintly wasn't going "Go Peyton Go! Win Peyton Win!"

What's so bad about Peyton? I'm not a huge fan of his, but I was rooting for him last year in the playoffs, as well as this year since the Titans lost.

I don't like him. I root against him unless he is playing Dallas. All others I will root for him to lose to.

1. Dallas
2. Indy
3. Pitts
4. Tenn :p

comparing his career to these guys, is just as ridiculous. i'm a brett favre fan and he also has but 1 ring, but putting his career on the same list is retarded and you know it. i get it, you don't like manning, leave it at that.

Good to see Captain Stats reverting to being a choking dog. Good riddance to him and Saint Dungy. The playoffs are a thousand times better with their pious asses eliminated.

Brady choked against the Colts last year. He also choked against the Ravens several times in the same game this year.

Amongst the deleted posts, Tennesseefan07 said Romo took Dallas farther than Favre did for GB. Not looking good on that right now.

Colts let another one slip away. Not to be second guessing Peyton (not many do!) but when the Colts had the ball at the 3 yard line, I would have ran the ball rather than do the short pass which ended up being an INT at the 2 yard line. Colts should have won this one 31-28. Well, there will be 3 Mannings in Green Bay. Two with tickets and one playing.
I got 3 out of 4 this weekend.
Prediction for the SUPER BOWL-Packers vs. Pats.

I know you don't like Manning but to compare him to them is ridiculous. Say what you want about him but he will finish his career with atleast one Super Bowl ring, SB MVP, two league MVP's, multiple division titles, multiple Pro Bowl appearances, and many NFL records. I think thats a pretty good career for an average QB like you seem to act like he is.

His career isn't over and there are other great QB's who only have won ring and many more who have none.

When he loses to Indy he will have to be over the hill and not know when it is time to retire, sorta like Montana going to the Chiefs. Oh yeah, do you root for him to win or lose to Dallas. I'm confused.

Wow, you are on something. And I can see how you would get confused by a point blank statement.

Remind me again who won that game.

I just don't see the logic in blaming the entire game on a guy that put the ball in the hands of two All-Pro receivers on third and fourth down and then watched the ball fall to the ground.

i posted this in another thread, but figure it should be here as well:

i've seen Peyton choke games away. yesterday wasn't one of them.

that game falls squarely on:
1. Harrison's fumble in the 1st qtr. 14-0 quite a bit different than the resulting SD score to tie at 7-7. changed the tone of the game completely.
2. Recievers tipped both INT's to SD, they were not errant throws by Manning. Poor catching, and some timely bounces for SD.
3. the utter inability of the colt's d to stop Vincent Jackson, Billy volek and LT's back up when it mattered. the colts holding a lead at home late in the 4th qtr and billy volek leads the team on a 70+ yard scoring drive?

like i said, i've seen manning choke games away. this simply wasn't one of them.
