who is it this year rosen? i think ive heard bisco and umph

If you mean Holidaze, it was a week ago and was Umphreys and Bisco. First time hitting that trip and it was a freaking blast in Jamaica. Stage on the beach at Hedonism, beer stands and bars all around and everything is free except your extra cirricular activies. What a great freakin' trip. Seemed like they wanted to do it again this year if possible according to Magner from Bisco. So, check back around March/April which I think is when they announced details this year.

You spend your afternoon at the beach, bar, restuarant/buffet chilling out. Then, from roughly 9pm to 4am you are rocking out on the beach with the Biscuits and Umphreys. You can literally stand in the ocean and see them tearing up the stage. Great sound and the recordings on archive reflect it for sure.

honestly, if i was going to Jamaica, it wouldn't be to see two bands that i've already seen together 23534272 times. those guys might as well change their band's names to Disco McGhee or Umphrey's Biscuits.

you had me right up until you named the bands. those two bands have more than lost their interest with me when they're on the same bill.

I really do find it amazing that all these damn hippies are up in arms because the Boss is playing, but are creaming themselves over two Phish sets. Gee, I wonder which of those artists has made bigger contributions to musical history.

I bet you are in the minority on this one. To each his own; don't be a Hater...You sound like someone back in the day saying why do the kids like this Springsteen boy; Nat King Cole is the man!!
