There is the typical bashing I have grown to loath. I guess the perfect read and pick by Will Brooks must have nearly given coach a stroke. He was actually looking at the QBs eyes the whole time, how dare he!?

Watch the NFL today. See how many DB's turn their heads. They are TAUGHT, COACHED, to not turn around for many reasons. Run slower, can't see the receiver, if the ball is in the air, you might lose it, etc.This stupid narrative just keeps going. It's called being in phase. Yes, some guys understand leverage and turn around and make plays. A vast majority do not. McCoy had extremely tight coverage, didn't turn around, and Maclin caught a one handed TD on him. It happens. Acting like turning your head is the remedy for any 1-1 throw is wrong. It's coached just the opposite.
