Big Kahuna's Bowl 😀 :)

The Dos Grand Chichis Bowl.

And we probably would have a better shot getting a bowl game in Smokey Stadium. Smaller venue with more immediate access to entertainment. I don't don't how it would work logistically, though.

Maybe not a bowl..... but we can try something like pac12 does, where the one seed gets to host the championship game. That would be awesome.

And later.... the same idea applied to the national championship playoffs..... :):):dance2:

I am assuming that many UT fans would want to attend a bowl game in Neyland.

However, when we get back to being a bowl team wouldn't we be competing against our own team for attendance?

I always felt if you're going to have an Orange Bowl, it should be in Big Orange Country.

Has their ever been a bowl game in Neyland? Seems like a decent location with the Smokey's, Gatlinburg, Biltmore and Nashville pretty close by.

I went to a pre season NFL game back in the 90's at Neyland. Redskins vs Oilers, it was Shulers rookie year and maybe half the stadium was full. I don't know what kind of crowd they could draw unless the Vols were playing in it. Maybe it's because I'm from Tennessee but there's just not much appeal to Knoxville as a bowl destination to me. Then again Birmingham and Memphis are crappy towns too!

Memphis can be fun for a weekend. Beale Street, Tunica. As for B-ham, its just a pizz stop on the way to the beach.

The Lap and the Library Holiday Bowl. With a lifted alcohol ban! Bringing back the good old days!

Dollar long necks and $3 big gulps. Special appearance by Marvin and Big Rick! Instead of tickets there is a $5 cover charge. The Velcro Pygmies play at half time and Tommy Giles curb stomps drunks in pre game!

Tall Paul and Reggie will put on the pre-game show and national anthem. You need a little, "Boom-shicka-boom" to get the crowd pumped up.
