This show will probably suck. But it does bring back some good memories. Loved Boy Meets World when I was younger.

That picture.... both girls just look like they'll be doing porn in 5-8 years. Not sure I'm gonna enjoy this at all.

Feeney really was the master of promotions going from senior English to College professor. I'd imagine now, he is a Nobel Peace Prize winner in this series.

He started with them in Kindergarten or whatever grade they were in at the start of the show.

I had a teacher when I first started Middle School (5th grade) her first year teaching. She then ended up being a teacher I had in a class during my Freshman year of High School (also her first year teaching in HS) now some fifteen years later she is still at the HS and is the assistant principle.

As with 95% of other fans of BMW, I wish this show would mainly focus on Corey and Topanga and their lives as parents. I know a lot of the older cast is coming back for some episodes in this show. Looking forward to seeing that part of it.

Girl Meets World: Full Trailer and Premiere Date Revealed

Girl Meets World: Full Trailer and Premiere Date Revealed

Disney Channel has announced that "
Girl Meets World" will premiere on Friday, June 27 at 9:45 p.m., right after the premiere of "Zapped." The channel has also released the full trailer, which you can watch below.

Set in New York City, the new comedy series will tell the wonderfully funny, heartfelt stories that "Boy Meets World" is renowned for — only this time from a tween girl’s perspective — as the curious and bright 7th grader Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her quick-witted friend Maya (played by Sabrina Carpenter) embark on an unforgettable middle school experience. But their plans for a carefree year will be adjusted slightly under the watchful eyes of Riley’s dad (Ben Savage) who’s also a faculty member — and their new History teacher — and Riley’s mom (Danielle Fishel) who owns a trendy after-school hangout that specializes in pudding.

I'll definitely watch since boy meets world has always been my favorite show..I don't think it'll come close to bmw though.

I wish it was about another boy & his journey instead of a girl.

I grew up with the first one, but that trailer is definitely not supposed to aimed at my demographic. It makes me nostalgic, but it doesn't look good at all.

I have said on other threads I'm a member of several different film sites. One of them has a very good message board and one of the sub-forums is on TV shows and one of the threads is of course is discussing Girl Meets World. One of the members from the Los Angeles area got to attend a taping last week and posted the following.

He also posted a pic with Danielle Fischel and another of Rowan Blanchard and another cast member signing autographs.

Saw a taping tonight of the show (and it's exactly what I hoped it would be. It doesn't feel Disney-fied at all...Michael Jacobs actually said they were hesitant to start the show because they didn't know if they could live up the previous show. But it does, at least in my opinion. Rowan really hopes the fans love it too, she stopped to talk to is after and was pleased my friends and I all loved. Got a picture with Danielle after too. All in all, it was a really great night, and I'm really happy with how the show turned out.

No guest stars this time, but Fred Savage was at the taping, supporting his brother who directed last night's episode too.

I wrote up a few thoughts this morning for my facebook friends, so I thought you guys would appreciate it too:

Last night, I got a chance to see a taping of 'Girl Meets World', the sequel show to a show I love dearly, 'Boy Meets World'. I just wanted to share a few thoughts: 1) it feels right, and just like its predecessor. Fans worrying that the show will Disney-fied, it's not. The original series writers are writing this as well, so the tone and feel is exactly inline with what came before. 2) Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter are excellent as Riley and Maya, and they're so lovable, just like Sean and Cory were. The chemistry is great, and they feel real. 3) Ben and Danielle are just as amazing now as they were before. The chemistry is still there. Cory and Topanga haven't changed at all. 4) Michael Jacobs said he wasn't willing to bring the series back if it wasn't going to be as good as what came before. He's very protective, and he knows that the fans are too. They took their time to greenlight it and make sure it works, and it shows. 5) I loved what I saw, and I think it's going to please old and new fans alike.

We actually saw two episodes, because they showed us the pilot before the taping began. It was the sale's pilot, but it was good to see a completed episode to gauge what it would be like. And it was exactly what I was hoping for. There's a lot good to be had here, and I'm just glad that they took it seriously. I would have hated if this didn't work, or felt like fake version of what we saw before. But it feels like a real, solid continuation.

I can't wait for it to premiere in June.

I refused to watch it because I saw the initial pictures and just knew it was going to be horrendous

from what I've heard from those who did watch it, I made the right choice
