I think they have a real good shot at it. I'm a Fulton fan so we could have 4-5 teams from the Knoxville area to win State championships this year. Maryville, Fulton, Alcoa,Grace and Webb.

Don't forget West my Friend. Knoxville could almost Sweep State this year.

Season Record. 4-6

By beating Sliverdale, again, we win the reigon 5a championship. We get a 1st round bye while the 9 and 1 Seachicks get to play Rockwood this week.

And here's a special message to all those SBA people who called and texted we the last 2 weeks and have suddenly gone quiet.

1) Beating you is what we do.
2) play somebody if you want respect.
3) it's not a rivalry till you win some. (Or maybe just win one).

I'm one of the few that like it.
Under this system we can play tough games like South Pitt and DCA ect take care of business in the reagon and be fine. If we played Silverdales schedule we'd be 10-0.
Check the power rankings. We played the toughest 2a schedule in the State.
Ultimatly only 4 games matter each year. Take care of business in those 4 and you're good.

If they change the system it will suck for the fans. We'd lose a lot of good games and nobody would ever play South Pitt except the 4 teams that have to.

Haha, very true.
Although it was cold as hell 2 years ago when we went to Hampton so I think I'd rather have the home game.

I am not sure if Hampton is a better team or program than Marion County. I do know that hampton is a cold and tough place to play!

I played there one cold wet night in 1996 and still thawing out! Pittsburg, Pa is the Bahamas compared to Hampton.

I do not remember a cannon but it has been 17 years since that cold night. I do remember the sidelines being nothing but a big wet mud puddle. Only in Hampton would it not freeze. Only in Hampton would frozen water seem warmer......

The cannon might be relatively new.

End of season with a playoff loss to Jasper. You know it's a down year when you lose to a team who quit playing you in the regular season because they were tired of getting beat.

Lulz. It's the team from Jasper. I have good friends from there and they hate when I say that.

when your town name is an insult it makes trash talk to easy.

That combind with coaches vandalizing their own school overshadows what should be a great season for Jasper.
