Boys who can grow? Best states for skinny recruits.

Have you guys spent time around football programs? One thing NFL scouts look at is whether or not a guy has peaked in college. Maybe you are unaware but lots of guys do a cycle of steroids as well as work out a lot when they are getting ready for the NFL combine.

I have heard from guys in the NFL that so and so from Southern Miss used steroids in college so he had nowhere to go in terms of getting better in the league. Other guys never used steroids so they have huge gains.

Pahokee is known as being a school where kids have all the ability in the world but have not put on that much muscle during school. I would say that this applies to states and regions as well.

A kid with freakish genes at a Single A football program that has a bench press and a squat bar only will be able to get more out of a college work out program than a kid from a 5A program where mommy and daddy brought in a nutritionist and his personal trainer worked on every little detail with him.

Raw 3 star is what Jose Jose is.

Raw 3-4 stars who become great is what separates great recruiters (ours) from average recruiters. The ability to spot upside, the ability to talk to a kid and figure out he is fat because his mom fries peanut butter and jellies, or he is skinny because basketball was his main sport he played and he never lifted that hard is important in sports.
