Georgia State should have one that game. Bogus no call at the end of the game, refs didn't have the balls.

Mid major basketball is a joke, you could be by far the superior team all year in your conference but all it takes is one game for the other team to heat up and upset you by one point in overtime to steal your ncaa tournament bid even though you practically swept the entire conference. Why the hell do small or mid major schools play regular season games? It's not like any of it matters. This is cool for the Cal Poly's of the world but it is just unfair, period.

Have long said that smaller conferences should award their bid to the regular season champion. Makes more sense, from a quality standpoint.

It's all about the money. The conference tournament is where these smaller conferences make all their money. It's stupid from a logical standpoint upon deciding the best teams but smart for the conferences. I just think this is bad for college athletics from a moral standpoint. Unfair to the team that proved their worth throughout the course of the season.

EVERY conference should be like the Ivy League. You can still have the conference tourney. You can still have 2 trophies. You can still make the extra money.

But it makes no sense to award the automatic bid to a team that can get hot for 3 days in any conference.

North Dakota St. over Oklahoma.

Seems like every year there's a 12 seed over a 5 seed. Harvard over Cincy too.

Keep an eye on New Mexico State over San Diego State. NMSU is massive (you may have heard of Sim Bhullar, their 7'5" center), they shoot free throws at will (fourth-highest rate in America), and their field goal defense is surprisingly strong (11th-best opponent two-point FG%).
