We'll finish the reg. season with a flourish because Bruce is back and in charge. Against the SEC it won't be hard. I see a 4-5 seed and then.... who knows? There were a lot of failure birds chirping back in Jan. of last year when I joined. I never give up hope!

If only he gets rid of his almost flex offense... That will be the day.

Yeah, real comeuppance. Pearl had to scrap his beloved system of play to finally accomplish anything of note in the postseason, thus leaving those of you who so fervently defended that brand of trash basketball and its efficacy looking utterly clueless.

Yes, his style of play made a whole one possession difference in getting one further level than previously. How many times do I have to demonstrate the stupidity of this argument? You hooked on to the style of play thesis, so I know you have to ride as far as you can, but it's BS when you, Law or anyone else says it.

UT lost by 1 point to a superior version of Ohio State in 2008, while winning by one possession last year to the Buckeyes. We were a blocked layup, swatted by the #1 draft pick, away from the Elite 8. To state that the difference of 1 possession in the same round resulted from a change in philosophy, much less makes people look "utterly clueless", is idiotic.

By that same argument.... I could say we should have made it to the Final 4 with our new style last year. The Style had/ has to be changed because of our lack of shooting. We need the ability to drive and score earlier off our base offense, and not wait till 10 seconds left to run a terrible "set play".

Well, my previous arguments have been that we had to run the style to fit our personnel. Last year's crew couldn't run the same style as Lofton's crew and vice-versa.

if we got that draw in lunardis recent update, we could EASILY make it to the elite 8 again...that would be a dream draw for such a disappointing season

We have played 14 of our 25 games so far against NCAA tournament teams according to his bracket.

That is pretty impressive.

Baby Hansbrough will tear us a new one when we play ND.

every ncaa tourney, ND comes in with so much hype and how they are the "dark horse" to make a run...and usually get beat in the first round...old dominion and winthrop from recent memory upset them early

nothing comes "easily" with this team as of late. Plus, Lunardi's match ups are hardly ever correct. I am hoping for a shot at the tourney at this point.

South Carolina, Miss. St., and UGA could get us to 19 wins...If we do that I feel good about getting at least 1 win in the SEC tournament

We are still a 7 seed according to Lunardi, but we still need those 19 wins.
