They are catchy and when ever I put them on the girls like it.

I'm with you, but I'm also younger than 25 and can appreciate party songs. Not everything has to be a musical revelation to be good. People are too judgmental over music these days.

party songs can certainly be used in country music, but not the way these two doofus's use it. I mean seriously, here's a line "phone blowing up where you is, baby saying lets do this." I mean, what the hell? Is that even English? Then they have a song that says the following "I sit you up on the kitchen sink, put a pink umbrella in your drink." Seriously, these two promote rape I believe. Them and Thomas Rhett and luke Bryan are the two biggest defendants of it.

Promote rape? They are just a couple of good ole boys with catchy party songs. "Who brought the party, damn, that was Florida georgia line" they just bring the good times and the party bro.

They are most assuredly NOT "good ole boys".

Party songs definitely have a place in country. Unfortunately, their songs are stupid to the point of almost not making any damn sense.

For a genre that usually focuses on lyrics, they are impressively terrible.

I'm not even somebody that constantly bashes "new" country, but those guys are trash.

Then again you can say that about luke Bryan and others. I'm really proud of those girls :)

I would listen to Paisley any day over Luke Bryan. I've heard that guy TRY to sing on several different occasions and he's bad. Luke Bryan is full on terribad.

Like Bryan use to be good but then he got all soft.

I love party songs and listen to all sorts of music. FGL are still garbage.

Nikki Minaj songs have more substance than anything FGL has ever written.

Modern country music is terrible.

hell yes to this.

i must admit that there are some current modern day country singers whose work i liked more than a decade ago (Chesney and Brad among a few others), but today's, i can't really stand it, save for a very few exceptions.

Also have to admit that I love the FGL song, Cruise, in a slightly guilty pleasure-ish way. Everything else from them is pretty damn terrible though.

Haha good one bud.

Girl you know you're the life of my party
You can stay and keep sippin' Bacardi
Stir it up as we turn on some Marley
If you want you can get on Harley
I sit you up on a kitchen sink
Stick the pink umbrella in your drink

These lyrics are vapid. If you changed around a few words it would be utterly indistinguishable from the sort of songs you hate. I guess it's fine as long as a "bro" is singing it.
